Unassuming sushi place on a busy stretch of Route 9. Street parking is available around the corner. Sashimi salad was delicious, with a generous helping of fish. Would’ve been nice to have some dressing on the greens. The Kiss of Fire roll was great, too; however, perhaps the spiciness took away from being able to taste the fish. Will probably go with a rainbow roll next time. My boyfriend also had the ramen, which is clearly not their specialty. I will definitely go back because the food is all great and the prices are reasonable. I did dock them one star because the service is super slow. It took well over half an hour from when we ordered our appetizers to when they showed up at the table.
My family and I visited at Chiharu for lunch. The dining room had one family seated at a table. Yet my family and I were refused a table. We were told that we could order takeout only. We no longer patronize this business.
One of the best sushi spots i have been to! Extremely fair prices, beautiful ambience with lots of happy plants, very clean, nice jazz music playing, and very friendly and hard working staff. You have to try their house roll, it was amazing.
The sushi and shumai were amazing! I got the Chiharu House Roll, and it was not only delicious, but the presentation was unique and stylish. There were gold flakes on top, a variety of roe colors, and cherry tomatoes cut into rabbit shapes. The pricing was also very reasonable. The wait times for food were pretty long, so I maybe wouldn’t recommend coming here if you’re in a rush.
Best sushi in the Boston area. Just very high quality fish and very good flavor. Fair prices and satisfying portion sizes for sushi rolls. My favorites are the sashimi salad and Chiharu House Roll.
Legit the best Ramen I've ever had! And the sushi was really fresh and tasty. They also have a really nice aesthetic and feel in the restaurant.
FINALLY! Good sushi in Massachusetts!! ? These guys do it right! They make everything from scratch, they ask if you want utensils instead of just thoughtlessly wasting plastic, their containers are mostly biodegradable, and their food - because that’s what most of you came for, lol - is gold standard, 100% perfection. If you are a worldly New Englander starving for real fresh food in what is apparently a borderline food desert, these guys will hook you up with both flavor and nutrition. They make many of their own sauces and oils themselves, from scratch, the fish is super fresh, the prices reasonable and the staff completely professional and lovely. ❤️ Don’t go anywhere else (at least not outside of Boston). It’s a highway paved with tears and bad tamari out there. This is the spot. (Parking is a little tricky, but worth)
Delicious fresh fish. Beautiful and cozy. And great customer service.
Excellent Sushi so let me address why 4 stars upfront. Most “average” Sushi places pass off “green” colored horseradish as Wasabi (real wasabi root is more expensive and has a much stronger after flavor and less creamy texture). This isn’t an average place by any standard, the rolls are beautifully packed, well balanced with sauces with generous potions, one would expect them to serve real wasabi (root) and not green horseradish or atleast provide the option to serve it on request.Having asked the Chef about it, the answer has been the real root is coming but it’s been six months and they’re still seeing green horseradish. Hopefully they’ll read this and finally start serving or provide the option to serve real wasabi root. The sushi however is second to around the Boston region.
Really great sushi! Fresh and tasty.
