While we used to eat here much more frequently, I still remember each time we visited. It's a small little shop, but the owners are friendly, the food is great, and the atmosphere is good. Over time, the owners began to even recognize us, sometimes giving us a tiny free dessert! A truly authentic Italian experience, I feel confident giving this restaurant 5 stars!
Cozy place to have some great italian food. White sauce was very creamy and delicious. Definitely try the fried zucchini. The pasta and chicken were a little overcooked though. But that's just me nit picking. Overall, a delicious experience.
This Italian-owned-and-run bottega is simply beautiful. The people are the most friendly and caring restaurant owners you can imagine, and the food is just finger-licking, eyes-rolling gooood. The no-fuss family-liked ambience makes dining here pure relaxation. You will have the best bonding time with your best friends, partner, and family here. What’s even better is that this place doesn’t serve alcohol, so nothing crazy or dramatic can happen. You’ll get to enjoy some of the most calming and comforting meals with your loved ones in a snuggly Italian getaway.
Excellent!!!! The service was very fast and friendly, the prices were reasonable, and the food was absolutely delicious. Intimate, charming atmosphere that feels like having dinner at your Italian grandpa's house. I loved everything about it.
Delicious dinner (risotto with seafood, penne with vodka sauce and caprese salad) and warm, attentive service. Very reasonably priced and a casual atmosphere. No alcohol served, which was just fine, but be aware if you’re looking for a glass of wine to go with your meal. Highly recommend if you’re in Brookline.
Staff is really friendly and nice! The environment of the restaurant is very cozy! Spaghetti and salad are amazing! Highly recommend!
I moved away from this town 2 years ago. My son misses it horribly. He enjoyed the meatball sub. He describes it as such, “the beef meatball made me want to keep eating and eating.” Me and my son definitely recommend.
Please get the eggplant parm with pasta and any ravioli in di Capri sauce and you won't be disappointed. Not a fan of the sandwiches and bread (guys seriously get better bread) but if you go with the pasta dishes you will be happy.
Didn’t meet my expectation but may come back and try other dishes (more below)General* very busy place. Sometimes feel being left unattended. (People are friendly, but they are just busy)Pasta alla Pesce* seafood is good. Flavorful and big in size* noodle is good. Toughness is great* great amount. Definitely fill your belly* sauce is too flat. Only little flavor is there for the noodle. Could make it stronger (feels more like soup than sauce as it’s too flat)Soup* soup broth is tasteful. I think it’s chicken broth
The host was very friendly and also the taste of foods was very nice.I hope to visit here again very soon.
