Excellent. Best dinner out we had in Boston. Ambience is clean and on trend for any occasion. Szechuan food satisfied a native and two Americans who are picky (and experienced) Chinese food lovers. We had the eggplant, string beans, dry rub brisket and Chong Qing dry hot chicken. The cocktails are creative and tasty (love the tiki vibes) — get the Lulada. Service was amazing. You should go—we plan to go back!
Truly one of the best cocktails I’ve had EVER! They have a really unique and very aesthetic selection of drinks. Also have great appetizer and small plate options. Waitresses are really nice and attentive, they know some of the regulars by name and order which is amazing.
Six in our family ordered five different cocktails, four different appetizers, and six different entrees. We passed around glasses and plates, tasting each other's selection. The consensus was that everything was unique, but equally tasty/delicious. Food flavors were rich and complex, balanced with a layer of Sichuan heat. The cocktails were amazing. This is a restaurant with repeating.
Food and drinks are delicious. If you are a fan of spice (both heat and flavor) you'll love Blossom Bar. I tasted 6 different entrees and each had a completely unique flavor. The tofu skin crepe filled with mushrooms was very good and lucky for us, a big hit with my one year old.
Went here for drinks when I was already full which was a mistake! We did end up getting some bites and I regretted eating anything before this because I wanted to eat it all! Drinks were on point. Food had perfect Szechuan spice (I would have even gone spicier). One thing to note was that they did not have any tea. The server said that’s because they wanted to really focus on the cocktails and make sure they were up to their highest standards before branching out into this other realm of special drinks, which is understandable.
Great restaurant! The food was amazing and service was awesome! They made delicious drinks too. I you like more upscale Sichuan food and mixed drinks, then this is the place to go! Staff was very knowledgeable about the food and drink menus, and had great recommendations. Just make sure to make reservations, since it gets pretty crowded on the weekend!
Cocktails were amazing, ambience is awesome, food is huge portions for the price. Really a gem of Brookline and very unassuming from the outside! Only once you get in are you immersed in the almost speakeasy-like vibes. Highly recommend for any occasion, and had an amazing time!!
Fantastic drinks and delicious food. Some dishes tend to be spicy, so ask if that isn't your jam. Really quick service and delightful bartenders. Very hip and fun vibe.
The drink featured below was THE BEST mocktail I have EVER HAD. HANDS DOWN.Stopped in quick before a cheese & Wine tasting (dahhhhhhhlinggggs) and the bartender was friendly, quick, and all about that TMZ trivia. If I had been able to stay longer I easily would have stayed to continue the Tristan Thompson debate, and eaten my pork fried rice with chopsticks and not a spoon; I'm still mortified.
The cocktails are some of the best I have had (strong statement coming from Chicago/LA resident). The food is also quite good, some more salty than others, but overall a solid experience.
