Quite some years ago when Anna's was on Beacon St I'd have been thrilled to the moon to rant & rave about their food; how quantity vs quality did NOT suffer as there was always a promise of both and how waiting in line inside or out that small locale was absolutely not a bother because it was so worth it. Worth it enough to drive from an hour away with the knowledge & promise of great eats! Now back again & living local in walking distance of the Harvard St store, Anna's is now rarely a thought- when in the past I could've eaten ? there every day. On all fronts Anna's has suffered by not delivering quality.. so sad to see another comfort food, good eats & reasonably priced restaurant go right down the proverbial drain.
I love Anna’s Taqueria’s food, however I ordered a $25 gift card from them back in October and it never came in the mail. I emailed them on their website 3 times and messaged them on Facebook twice and they said it would get to me but never did. Very frustrating since it charged my card but I never received anything.
Got takeout last Thursday night.Food: 4/5We got 2 grilled chicken burritos, one regular and one super. The super is definitely a good value (not to be confused with the super super). They do not skimp on meat, and their cheese is always gooey and delicious. A bit too much sour cream for our liking. We also got a side of the chip salsa, which has very good flavor. We wish there was a fish protein option, like El Pelon.Service: 5/5Food was ready on time and they threw in free chips, possibly not intentionally.
Been a customer here for years! And I just realized that they may charged for some things you didn’t ordered. Definitely check your receipts before you leave.
A decent burrito, but way too much rice, and the tortilla has the consistency of play-doh
