I came here 2 times once I came with some friends and ordered mostly fried food which was ok it could have been fried harder but my garlic noodles was ok so I decided to bring my family we ended up getting combo bags of the seafood boil and everything tasted old and nasty ? there fish and king crab legs was so horrible I think I caught food poisoning then they charged me 234 dollars for 3 combo bags so I know I was over charged then they gave us can sodas that they poured in the glass if u want good food don’t come to this one in Brockton literally everything looks dirty and coronavirusish
The food was amazing, the staff was kind, and the restaurant is huge. The tables are covered with paper. You are given a bib and gloves... Refills always ready. Really enjoyed our time there and will visit again..the clam chowder is good also.
I ordered mussels and requested for it to not be put near shrimp. Now it’s either they put it near shrimp or they didn’t clean the mussels well because it my friend and I got so sick. This is the second time this has happened to me. When I requested a refund, they told me to bring the food back. Needless to say they are bad for business. It’s either they don’t listen to allergy/requests or the place is just dirty and they don’t know how to clean seafood. May I also add customer service was really rude?
2nd time here, just as delicious! Waitress Iris was great. Food was served hot. we got the chowder, which was creamy and thick, but not to thick, but the flavor was there! I got the fried shrimp, they were huge! Hubby got the scallops, those were huge too, he said the best he's eaten in a while. Lastly, we ordered the onion rings, batter was light and crispy. I would definitely recommend this place!
There are restaurants out there who just wing it ,(couldn't help the pun) but honestly speaking Boiling Catch takes things to the next level. I have ordered from them several times via Doordash and let me just say they have never disappointed me once! The packaging ensures that your food can breath so you never get soggy fries. They arrive hot and crispy! The actual food is always so damn fresh. Whether it is chicken or shrimp you can always tell it was prepared fresh and not yesterday's reheated leftovers. You take a bite of their wings and the outer crunch meets tender juicy delicious chicken. Just the way I like it! Anyone who knows me well will tell you that I do not filter my words when it comes to reviews and when disappointed well let's just say I do not hold back. In the case of Boiling Catch, I am not only impressed but I will happily rave about you guys any day! You remain my favorite local seafood restaurant and I am happy to order from you again and again. Keep up the amazing work!
The food was good, a bit salty. Little to no sauce in the bag, & we asked for extra sauce and she gave us these little itty bitty cups. And charged us a whole dollar for basically nothing. The lady who was the waitress was watching us eat the whole entire time, very uncomfortable, I mean she was staring at us for no reason, she was rushing us with ordering and charged us way too much for only 40$ seafood bags each and we got 2, the order came out to almost $130, when 40 and 40 is 80 plus tax and everything a little over 80 maybe, we barely had any money left to give after they over charged us, and she started getting mad and yelling because we didn’t tip her, mind you she was asking for a $20+ tip, after making us feel uncomfortable.
This is the best crab legs boil place in the south shore. The staff is very accommodating and polite. The food is hot and delicious. It's a lot better than the crab place at south shore plaza. I definitely recommend this place. The fried food is unexpectedly good, Better than fried seafood places.
Excellent customer service. Phenomenal seafood, reasonable pricing. Helped make the holidays a little easier for my family. Pre-ordered online and received a phone call to confirm my order and helped me figure out what would work out for my mom who can not eat heavily salted foods. I was well taken care of and will be back again very soon.
I like the takeout service. I do also love the food. In my opinion, cooking style and price is similar to shaking crab.
The sauce flavor was right on! We loved the "all flavor". It was a family night out. We tried the shrimp, crab legs, mussels, crawfish, lobster, fried calamari and Cajun fries. Not one meal to complain about. The prices were as expected. The staff was very attentive and nice. There are markers to write notes on the wall which was fun. We will be back.
