On arrive posted on the front door was a sign that instructed a customer to sit your to any sesat, I choose a booth. Mary-Anne-my server- allowed me plenty of time to select the Chocolate Clip Pancakes (3), home fries, & a large orange juice. The pancakes were HUGE with the fries equal in sise. I ended up taking one full size pancake and most of the fries. Second breakfast was two plain waffles, two blueberry muffins & the orange juice. This order was completely consumed. Third order was two strawberry covered waffles, two blueberry muffins & the usual orange juice. The one drawback to the dineris the lack of parking next to the diner, only about ten spaces which is 21 Hancock St. Directly across Hancock St. is a Walgreens Pharmacy with a large lot. When told Mary-Anne where I parked, she informed that Walgreens will allow Olypain customers to park in it's lot up to a cetain time before calling the diner to have customers to move their vehicles. I parked at the pharmacy each morning, leaving by 8:15 , with no problem from Walgreens. All three breakfasts were very filling & tasty. Besides Mary-Anne there was a second waitress-didn't get name-wth both very polite.If I remember correctly sitting was tables & booths & abar. Serving starts at 6:00 & serving through supper. I would recommend all three meals-the strawberry covered waffles were the best-and other meals.
Excellent St. Patrick's Day dinner with lots of green on customers and staff. Second dinner in 2 days and bought two more to make sandwich and hash! Delicious, fun and reasonably priced!
Great place for breakfast; food comes quick and delicious; seat yourself unless it’s busy; parking is adjacent or two mins away in another dedicated lot
Love this place! I went a few times as a young girl and now as an adult revisited it and it was just as amazing as I remembered! Amazing food, fast service and great prices. Only Wish there was a parking setting up but it hasn’t stopped me from going !
great food, large portions, "price friendly". Only 2 drawbacks are there is limited parking,, and cash only
Only been once. Very busy little place. Staff started a little grumpy, but during a Sunday breakfast rush no wonder. Food came out so fast I was shocked. It was very good waitress started to lighten up. All good. Bought the two older gentlemen next to their meal and left. Got to the car, realized I left my phone behind. When I went back they meet me at the door with my phone and thry were fantastic.
Great family styled restaurant and the food is pretty great here. I highly recommend trying this place out when you get a chance.
We were looking for a great Diner and got exactly that.
Love this place! This was the first time I’ve eaten here and I will definitely be back. The service is great and the food just as great. Everything is made to order and nothing we had was frozen. The pancakes I had were amazing, I wish the ones I made at home were that good. The coffee is really good too, it tasted fresh and they make sure your cup is always full. All the prices are reasonable and there’s decent free parking in the lot beside the restaurant.
