Maria’s is a Braintree cornerstone. I am very fortunate to have enjoyed the delights here for 30 years. Moreover, Maria’s has been five starring people for generations. To start, do yourself a favor and get the Greek salad, the dressing is the best. The fresh bread and butter will come in handy at the bottom of the bowl. Carbs? so what….., live a little. Basically an appetizer if you ask me, I love the pizza. Try the shrimp Parmesan, yes shrimp Parmesan. My go-to has been the saltimbocca for years. However, my real strategy is to bring my beautiful wife and children….. so I can have everything.???
Excellent food big servings friendly wait staff. Easy to find on Rt 58. Typical Italian decor with walls painted. Plenty dish choices. I had fish casserole that was very good. Will be back.
Great Italian family restaurant, been going there since I was a kid back in the 60's. Still have gnocchi. Everything is delicious!
Went to Maria’s last night for my husband’s birthday it was wonderful. We had not been there for along time which was a mistake. Our meal was excellent, we enjoyed everything, salad fresh, bread soft and fresh and main course hot, meat tender and sauce delicious. Cathy, our waitress was friendly, attentive and always there with updates on our meal. We will be back there soon to eat in and are planning to get takeout this weekend.
Love this place hasn't changed in years wasn't that busy we went late. We got buffalo chicken app. Covered in buffalo sauce like you wouldn't believe..Soo good. For diner we both got chicken Parm he got ziti with his I got gnocchi it was a little over cooked. But the chicken made up for it. Was a little disappointed they didn't have clam chowder only fish chowder. (That night) usually great clam chowder... No thanks on fish chowder..so got salad instead cause you get to pick soup or salad. Salad was big...you really can't go wrong with this place. And thrust you will not go away hungry. Wait staff really nice too. Try it out if you have never been. This place is a relics...?
The seafood platter was delicious and clean grease no sugar added to the batter melt in your mouth good.

If you like a warm and friendly atmosphere that reminds you of visiting family for dinner, then Maria's Restaurant, located in Braintree, is a place you'll want on your list!!! Although we love the chance to sit in and eat, mainly because the staff is wonderful, most often we order for pick up. The food is great comfort food! To me, it's the closest we get to actual home cooking. Portions are on the larger side but prices are very reasonable! My favorite winter menu item to order is any of their house made soups! My absolute favorite is the clam chowder. Love it! Def a place worth the trip!!
Had a quiet 1pm lunch with friends. Started with an enjoyable Greek salad. Bread too! Chicken Parm portion was large enough that I took leftovers home for dinner. Nice waitress. Fair prices. Local vibe.
Never any complaints about Maria's. We have been going there for decades and the food is always fabulous and reasonably priced. It's always a meal to look forward too.
