I just came in again because of their boba drink shaped pancakes!!! It’s so cuteee and tastes amazing!!! The back and the front says has their logo!! I tried the boba flavored one and the custard flavored one. The custard is my favorite!!Honestly, there’s a lot of boba stores in Newbury street but I keep coming back to YiFang because of their mango pomelo sago drink! I love how it tastes so good with a touch of grapefruit pulp and sago! I always get 50% sugar because I don’t like to drink it too sweet. You definitely should try it!
Their fruit tea has real fruit in it, and it makes the tea super delicious! My current favorite is the peach fruit tea. I’m able to get their drinks without any toppings and enjoy them, unlike other places where I have to get toppings to make the drink worth it.The store here is clean and the service is fast. There is some available indoor seating. There is a $10 minimum for credit cards, so make sure to bring cash if you’re just going to have one drink.
Had to try their fruit tea as it looked very promising. I got the pineapple green tea with less sugar and regular ice, the drink itself wasn’t too bad was smooth like drinking regular tea but the actual fruit was extremely sweet I didn’t know what it was. at first I thought it was the boba but then realized it was the pineapple itself just bitter sweet which wasn’t pleasant when I started drinking the tea and the pineapple just surprised me. Overall it’s pretty decent boba tea shop which was in a convenient location and clean, service was great.
Overall, the boba was a strange goopy texture and was over sweet. I ordered the matcha brown sugar drink with 50% sugar. Next time I would get 0% sugar. For the hefty $7.50 price, this drink wasn’t worth it.
I’ve only tried one drink there but it was their specialty winter melon tea with aiyu jelly. I’ve heard a lot of great things around Yi Fang, so I was quite disappointed with the drink as it was extremely sweet and tasted like syrup (sweetness couldn’t be altered). If you don’t like sweet drinks definitely wouldn’t recommend this drink!
Very quaint place to get your boba fix. The tea is great, the boba is small and delicious, the boba cup shaped waffles are amazingly delicious! They come in packs of 5 and are a sweet treat to go along with your premium teas that taste fresh. All of these for a little more expensive (like 7 - 9 dollars) but worth it for convenience and quality. 10/10 would recommend!
Yi Fang is known for their brewed tea. Recently they got into these egg waffles and they’re excellent! I like it with filling inside like with taro and have yet to try the custard.
one of my top favorites boba shop in boston because of the high quality taste of the teasmy go-to drink is the sun moon lake black tea with aiyu jelly, it's refreshing and has a good balance of bitterness and sweetnessservice is very quick and friendly
Taiwan is the originator of bobba tea, and Yi Fang holds true, with one of the few places (of several) on Newbury Street that has brown sugar tea. They give a lot of bobba, and the pearls are on the smaller and sweeter side.A bit pricey ($7/drink). I'll probably go elsewhere for a more regular pearl milk tea, but here for a bit more of a luxurious sip.
Fresh tasting tea, assurance of brown sugar boba quality, and clean bathroom.
