Pretty decent beef noodle soup (with pickled cabbage). Rougamo was loaded with pork and pretty good and the bun was deep fried/baked and extremely crispy instead of spongy like a bao. Hand-pulled noodles were spicy but not overly so. Unfortunately the place does close at 7 pm.

Hidden gem located inside the Corner Food Court in Downtown Boston. Serves signature Xi'An hand pulled noodles along with a few of their dim sum / appetizer menu. This place is perfect for lunch or dinner as it's located in the center of Downtown. They close at 7 PM though!
Ate here a few weeks ago with some folks at work. Everyone enjoyed their food and compared it favorably to Gene’s (our usual spot for this type of food). It did take a while between ordering and our food being ready (10ish minutes), so if you’re in a rush, this isn’t the spot, but if you have some time and want something reasonably priced and a bit different, I’d give it a shot.
Delicious hand pulled noodles, quite spicy. Really enjoyed the pork in the rougamo itself and the bread was so flaky. ðŸ‘
Come here for a quick bite in downtown crossing, pretty authentic food and $ price. Just don't come during rush hour cuz there might be a long waiting time.
Got food poison. I am quite sure is this restaurant because I haven’t eat anything before I ate at this place. Hope they can check their food before than serve the clients
Was very excited to see another Xian restaurant nearby to potentially replace the recently very inconsistent Gene's #4 noodles. Got the biang biang noodles. Order took a while to complete which I'm fine with and portion was on the heftier side. Overall the dish tasted very vegetable-y and tomato-y instead of the spicy garlic goodness I craved. Will try again at some point, but as it stands now it was average and not a real Gene's contender.
