I hosted my 12 friends at Ward 8 and it was great! The service and food was great. It was a nice atmosphere for loud music and conversation with friends.
I made a dining reservation for 10:30pm. When we arrived at 10:25pm we were told that the kitchen was closed and that we could only get drinks. I asked why I was allowed to make a dining reservation if the kitchen would be closed, and I got no answer to that. During the 5 minutes that we stood there trying to figure out why this happened, we could see multiple people receiving their meals and dining. Not sure what happened, but I donât think I will be making any further reservations at this restaurant.
Great time at Ward 8. Entertained friends from out of town. Sat n patio. Food was amazing and service terrific. Enjoyed Nightshift beer recommended by our server. He was spot on with all his recommendations. Overall great night.
It's been 3 years since I've eaten at Ward 8 and the food was just as good as I had experienced, if not better. We went on a really hot/humid day of the week so the A/C wasn't working as strong as needed, so other than being a bit too warm inside, everything else was worth a return visit...perhaps when we Don't have a Boston heat advisory.
Great spot to get a meal before events at TD Garden. Solid beer list and food is always on point.

Food was excellent and well priced. Service was not good! The waitresses were very sweet and polite but overwhelmed even though the restaurant was fairly empty at the time.
Birthday dinner with family was wonderful. The outdoor dining experience was perfect. Appetizers and desserts were a little on the expensive side, but delicious enough to splurge, especially for special occasions.
Food was tasty; drinks were good Outdoor dinning was very nice; Busy staff / understaffed so service took awhile
