Used to love the Green Tea Latte with Sesame Boba. Ordered this recently at their Quincy location, but didn’t get to drink it right away. Once I did, I noticed it tasted bland and watered down. Very different from previous experiences. The black sesame boba was also very lacking in flavor. I just took it as a fluke since I took too long to drink it and the ice watered down my drink. Ordered this again today at the Chinatown location, but had it right away. The drink tasted watered down and the sesame boba lacked sesame flavor!! AGAIN! This time there was no excuse! So disappointed that I went back in and got a refund.
Love this place, especially the dessert items. I highly recommend the milk tea QQ bowl, which is one of the best dessert I had ever. I also appreciate many non-caffeine’s drinks being offered; as I normally stop by after dinner. Also, they offer so many options of bubble, such as brown sugar, matcha, sesame. Some recommended drinks to order:*oolong milk tea with brown sugar bubble*winter melon lemonade*oolong tea
Came here for a quick bite and got the milk tea pudding with taro balls and other toppings. For the price, the portion was small, but with all the toppings, it was quite filling nonetheless. The taro balls weren’t as good as some of the other boba places nearby, but in a pudding form, it didn’t make a huge difference. Interesting concept, but not something that I would have occasionally.
Sep '21: went to the one in Quincy prior to pandemic and absolutely enjoyed the Charcoal drink with their homemade sesame boba. never a fan of regular boba, but these are a tad smaller and softer with just the right chew. I couldn't stop taking sips which is quite atypical of my usual drinking speed.that's why I was quite excited to learn about the one that opened up in Ctown as it is closer to work. sesame boba is still good like last time, but very sadly the tea (a tea latte or something) tasted quite watered down. it felt like I paid $5+ for slightly flavored water with boba. for context I got the same low sugar level last and this time, though that should not have been the reason why a tea drink has very weak tea presence in it. pretty bummed this time around.might try them again at some point in future, though the motivation/excitement for a revisit has been diminished.ETA: tried again Dec '21. sticking to the charcoal drink this time; definitely better than the tea latte thing. Handmade SESAME BOBA for the win Strong shout-out for the boba that did NOT get hardened up after refrigerating till the next day!!! Also adding one star for great service, taking care in packing multiple drinks, friendly staff, etc.
Disappointed with the taro latte because it was basically whole cup of milk with some small pieces of sweeter taro. But the dessert cups are tasty
Taro milk tea and purple yam latte taste awful. Worst milk tea I have ever had. Will never buy anything from this place ever again.
went in last night while waking chinatown while visiting boston, staff was nice and service was good! we got 3 drinks and got them within 10 minutes so you don’t wait for a long time. the brown sugar milk tea was good and also had brown sugar boba balls! will definitely come back when in the area again ?
I used to love this onezo but they’ve just consistently been going downhill. Drinks are super bland and watered down even with full sugar. Our drinks tasted like water and the boba was severely undercooked and hard. We also found HUGE chunks of something in our taro. It looks like taro that wasnt fully smashed/incorporated into the drink? Disgusting, save your money and go somewhere else in Chinatown
I waited 30 mins for my drink order at the actual store because I got stuck behind all these to go orders. You need a separate team fulfilling the to go orders because it's ridiculous for your customers that are in the actual store to wait 30 mins for a drink (not a meal!). And the employees hand write all the labels on the drinks! Not efficient at all!
A very cute, aesthetic place. I got regular milk tea and brown sugar boba. It wasn't as sweet as I expected and the boba didn't have a distinct taste, though. I got a regular and it felt a bit smaller than the regular at other places. Overall not bad but not amazing either
