A well-earned five stars. This was the first time I've ever stayed at a W Hotel, even though I have Platinum status. Awesome location, such a friendly staff, and a beautiful lobby. I loved everything about this hotel - the well-appointed amenities, the large Spectacular room on the 12th floor, the front desk and door team, and the entire vibe of the hotel. Excellent stay that really enhanced my trip to Boston.

We were really happy with our pre-theater dinner here. Weren’t sure about it just being a bar menu, but there was plenty to choose from, all of our dishes were super tasty: seviche appetizer, mini crab sliders, a cheese burger, Caesar salad with steak on top, bbq chicken flatbread and delicious drinks. Our server was super nice and we will definitely be back. A great spot before going to a show!

For the level of service you get at this hotel you might as well stay at the Holiday Inn

2 night June stay, booked standard room and used a marriott SNR for corner king upgrade. 9pm Friday arrival its about 10-15 min walk from Amtrak South station. Check in fast and efficient, 10th floor room huge bathroom big and everything extremely clean, try to get 01/02 corner rooms as they are larger versus other side of building. Housekeeping great, they left us extra toiletries and towels. Breakfast in restaurant excellent, platinums get $50 credit per couple, service is very quick and food was nice and hot. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.

For some reason, Boston, compared to NYC or LA, just doesn't know how to do service. So I've stayed at much pricier Boston hotels with MUCH worse service (The Newbury and the Whitney, I'm looking at you). This hotel has huge, clean, comfortable rooms with adorable bar set ups, and very nice service overall. I took off one star because service at breakfast was not great and my egg was very poorly cooked (I can do a better job on eggs and I'm NOT a good cook) and also the bed is way too soft. But overall pretty great and I would come again.

Drinks were not worth it. Ambience is okay. Music is not too great. Little expensive.

It s a good placeEvergreen evening there is music and party.I suggest

Our 2 queen room was tiny and the bathroom was super large. I’d question if the beds were actually queens - they seemed much more like doubles. The Air Conditioning unit is exceptionally loud and disrupted our sleep our first night. The 2nd night we opened the window. Lots of other people wrote about the single elevator in their reviews. The waits can be long. It doesn’t seem like there’s any urgency to fix it. Once you get into the elevator the music is so loud. Pros - great neighborhood, easy to walk to tons of things. We will definitely stay somewhere else the next time we are in Boston.

Made a reservation for the new garden, but given the weather the garden was closed early. I was not informed until I arrived then was placed in an area that was closed inside that switched servers at least twice. Food was decent but overall highly disappointed with the W. I’ve dined here before several times and this was my worst experience.
