The food here was good. I really loved the chapati and dal. Though it seems like they have more online orders coming in so they don't really have done any maintenance on the store. No air conditioning or fans and it was hot in there. Could not try a lot because they did not have Chaat options available at that time.

We came looking for tasty Indian food. Found it. It was spicy, even medium is hot so be warned. The place doesn't look like much, and in all honesty it is pretty lowbrow from an ambiance standpoint. The clientele aren't doing their residencies at MGH, Boston University or Tufts. They are more likely to have come straight from India on a J1 work visa for some IT company. But you're not coming here for the latest Todd English atmosphere, you're coming for hot and yummy. Be prepared to wait a bit, and you won't be wrong to order it as takeout to avoid the time issue. But you will scratch that itch for good Indian food-at least on a busy Sat night!

Exceptional South Indian food in the heart of Down Town Boston!!! Every dish on the menu is to try for and die for!! The names are funny and twisted but flavors will leave you wanting for more ???I ordered 3 different varieties of Dosas, Kothu roti, Samosa, Hakka Chinese, Aloo Parantha, Idli, Vada...The sambhar is filled with veggies and the flavors are just out of the world!Staff is super prompt and friendly ?????Cleaniliness - ?????Menu Options ?????Restaurant decor - ?????Takeout ?????Pick up through delivery.com ?????Once we had food here, we just kept coming back!

Fully Authentic Indian Spicy food. Best in Boston. If you don’t want to get disappointed as usual with most of Indian restaurants in Boston area then This is the place to eat. Seating arrangement not good.

Dont ever visit this place. No Inventory, whatever you ask- they dont have. The egg dosa was not even close to the picture shown. When reviewed, owner gets defensive and starts spewing nonsense as replies. BAD FOOD, BAD SERVICE AND No remorse. Sorry state of affairs.

Got dinner here tonight, staff was nice. Even though I got my food Togo. The dine in area was very nice and made me feel comfortable. It took about 10 minutes to get my food which is great timing, they also had a lot of pick up orders they were making as well.I ordered the butter chicken medium spicy, sexy samosas and the Irani Chai. Everything was amazing. The curry had the perfect spice and flavor. The samosas had a lovely crisp to them with a great taste. Chai is one of my personal favorite drinks and it was very herbal with some spice. Highly recommend this restaurant.

First time here, ordered1) Idly Fries - one of the worst snack. Not even like fries( not like how south Indian's Idly fries). This Idly fries was a hard rock and we could not even bite it. Such a dangerous snack. Please remove this snack item from your menu - $7 was waste. We trashed Idly fries.2) Sexy Samosa - It was ok to eat but not the best. bit salty too.3) Chicken Kothu Paratha - Felt we were having Veg Kothu Paratha. There was almost no chicken pieces. At the end, we only found 4-5 very small pieces of chicken. $15 dollars for Chicken Kothu without chicken :-). It was ok to eat.. But, not the super tasty or best Kothu.

Vaanga is one of our top finds in Boston with a very high quality-per-dollar ratio. This unassuming, un-prepossessing takeout place has a few tables, with eclectic and interesting decor featuring South Indian artifacts and curios. The real awesomeness of the place is in the taste of the food and obvious mastery of the chefs. If you’re looking for vegan keto, this is the place-really tasty vegetarian protein options.

Nice Indian restaurant in the downtown area of Boston. Tasty Food. Nicely decorated interiors. Variety of Indian dishes (both veg and non-veg) were available consisting of snacks and lunch from North to South. We tried Masala Dosa and Butter Chicken with Roomali Roti. Dosa was authentic. Butter Chicken was flavorful. Recommended when you are nearby Boston Downtown area.
