Breakfast, brunch, or just a cup of coffee makes Thornton’s a place to put on your must-see list. Inside and outside dining with lots of breakfast options. Prices can’t be beat for Boston — and many other cities. Nice owner and friendly staff, and it is right down the street from the Prudential Center and hotels nearby.
This place is a great place for breakfast and is affordable. The service was excellent as was their food. We enjoyed it so much we ate here 5 days in a row for breakfast. This place came highly recommended by our doorman Norman at the Colonnade Hotel 1 block away. I suspect Norman refers a great number of people to this restaurant. They also have a large menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You won’t be disappointed. If we ever visit Boston again, we will definitely go here and hope that Susan is our server.
Staff was very friendly. Mickey was super nice and friendly and the food came out in record time. The breakfast I ordered, however, was not so great. The veggies in the omelette were raw and the potatoes were not cooked through either. Pancakes were not so great either, tasted like frozen boxed pancakes.

Visiting Boston and stopped by around 9am - wasn’t too busy and able to get a table right away. The latte was great and food was really good! French toast is delicious. I would definitely visit again!

This place is a must if you're looking for breakfast or lunch in the area. Traditional food and exceptional service. A large diverse menu. You can't go wrong at Thornton's.
