Great place to enjoy burgers with amazing patties.As part of a steakhouse chain, Capital Burger certainly knows how to make great patties. I recently took a visit with a friend to try their signature Capital burger, and we were both impressed by its quality. I got mine medium rare, and the inside was perfectly juicy and its combination with the gruyère cheese and caramelized onions was really addicting. Even with a lack of condiments, the burger was amazing, and I enjoyed the thick cut truffle fries on the side as well. We also got the pan fried calamari on the side which was lightly fried with thin breading. Not the best calamaris I’ve tried, but still very good for the price.I usually try to avoid touristy restaurants on Newbury street, but this was worth the visit.
Oh my gosh. After doing lots of research to find a salad with salmon that isn't over $30 in the Copley/Back Bay area of Boston I found it!!! And it was amazing. It was so big. I had enough for 2 meals but enjoyed it all as I have no time to eat it tomorrow.The truffle fries and sea salt fries are both yummy.The sweet pickles are great. Just like I used to make years ago. My grandma's recipe.Our food was delivered quickly for which I was very grateful. Kyle did a fantastic job of serving us. Thank you Kyle for your attentiveness. We appreciate you.The food and service of Capitol Grill in a relaxed casual atmosphere. We loved the outdoor patio. Perfect way to end a gorgeous day in Boston. I'll definitely be back. Our whole meal was so affordable.
Really nice place, gentle service. Better to call and book a table.The waitress was not aware about the bar spirits, but she was probably a "learner" so no prob.Really good food, excellent meat. Good beer as well. Service fast ad gentle. Right price for the high end quality of the hamburger.
Wild mushroom burger was good. Gouda fries were a real treat, however they are an extra charge, ie they do not come with the burger. Caesar salad was standard fare. Good atmosphere.
Amazing burger, cozy environment, and really nice service. For those of you that are red meat lovers, try the Capital Burger and you won’t regret it!

Awesome Chedar Bacon Burger with Parmesan Truffle fries chased with a cold Corona Light. Perfect ending to a lovely day and stroll around twon.
The blue cheese black truffle burger hits different. The fries were delicious. And my drink was hitttttting. I would have gave 5 stars but they brought out cold calamari after the burger was served. The waitress was nice about it an took it off the bill. I highly recommend this spot.
My wife and I are big fans of the Capital Grill.This is their little brother, and he’s beautiful, but a lot more frugal, while still being a Class Act! We started with Cocktails. A Belvedere Martini for her, a Chocolate Martini for me. The drinks were perfectly chilled, and strong. We asked for a little time to enjoy our drinks before ordering, and were accommodating without resistance. The specialty of the house is an 8oz burger (special mix of beef) dressed any way you like, cooked to your doneness preference, and served with Fries or Salad. We tried it all and were not disappointed! For dessert, you can order coconut cream pie or chocolate mousse. We had the latter. Very creamy and oh so good! When the check came, it was very reasonable (under $80, all in). Highly recommend eating here.
I was in Boston for a day and needed a place to eat lunch. My dad and I stopped here after reading some good reviews: it did not disappoint. We were welcomed with some complementary pickles, and the waitress was quick to help us out. We never had to wait on anything and the food was brought out in a timely manner. On top of this, the burgers were absolutely delicious, and to finish things off, we grabbed milkshakes for the go. This place is definitely worth stopping by to grab a tasty burger.
