I made the reservation for July 7, 4+ weeks in advance, for a friend's birthday. I did so through their online reservation system. They electronically confirmed the reservation a few days prior. I took a one-way $30 Lyft from downtown Boston to their restaurant on the day of the reservation. When I arrived there was a paper note stuck to the inside of their door which read, "We will be closed for a summer break beginning Friday July 1st, 2022 and we will re-open on Friday July 15, 2022." No one even bothered to call me, much less acknowledge or offer a rescheduling.
Food was really delicious, but we were a bit disappointed that some items listed on the website menu were not available on the night we were there. Probably a good idea to call ahead and check if you are interested in a specific menu item. The Moroccan chicken was a stand-out. Staff are attentive and very pleasant. We sat at an outdoor table on a warm evening. There were only 4 outdoor tables, so we felt lucky that one freed up just as we arrived for our reservation.
We reserved this restaurant as our last during our stay in Boston based off of a recommendation from a friend… unfortunate mistake…. Bad drinks and bad/non-existent service. Wait staff was pretty well absent during the entire duration of our stay. Food was good, but waiter again disappeared after taking plates/empty drinks and never returned with bill. We had to search someone out just to pay and leave. Nearly a two hour dinner that consisted of a single appetizer and one entrée. Would not recommend unless you’re in the market for being ignored at a hefty price tag.
Came here for a date and the food and service were great! Food was nothing crazy or exceptionally unique, but everything was very well prepared and delicious. Staff was friendly and professional!
Overall experience was amazing. Service and presentation was amazing. We had some amazing drinks. The food portions were very generous.
