great choice for breakfast
I was in this restaurant with my son who has been struggling with his autism on the day before Mother’s Day. We went to Boston from our home, California to see one of our family. He was very happy to wait for his sandwich after I ordered and paid for our foods. Cafe was very crowded on that day. Suddenly one lady came to us and said system was down so they wanted to refund our order because we had to wait more than 40 minutes. We were very disappointed but it’s pretty tough for autistic kid to wait for a long time so I agreed. They said they would refund us on that day and would text me about this. I asked their information just in case it’s not taken care of. A lady gave a paper about their information(attached).Until today they are not taking care of our refund. I sent an email more than 3 times (once reply and no refund) and called to the shop many times and no answer. How can I solve this problem? Please advise me about this! Is there anything wrong with me? Please let me know. I am so depressed because of this happening.—-I got refund a few weeks later partially(They did not refund the tip) without any apology
Our crossaints and breads were not fresh, the chocolate was not melted, and the dirty chai tea lattes were not spiced and also tasted like they forgot the espresso. The woman in line in front of me also warned me some pastry options to avoid bc they were old/dry for her the last time she came as well. It was very expensive for being a pastry joint. I would not return.
Shakshuka and challah bread, avocado toast, linzer cookie and palmier were delicious. Matcha latte very good and corn soup eith bread were very tasty. The tuna nicoise was not the best though. Artichoke quiche tasty!?
We were excited to try this place after a recommendation, but can safely say we will not be returning. The staff were incredibly rude. The cashier didn’t listen to a word of our order and put it in wrong. When we raised the issue, the server rolled her eyes and stormed off. Ruined the experience.
We visited Tatte on 05/14 for breakfast. We'd been to Tatte in D.C. so knew what to expect but this surpassed our expectations. There was a 10min line outside but it moved fast and was worth the wait. You can order breakfast meals or bakery items, and we went with the latter but know from previous experience that the breakfast meals are as good. Definitely would recommend for a calm start to your day.
Very popular, always has a line that moves quickly. One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had! Very good food. Dine in or takeout.
This place is a must for us when we are in "Beantown." It is a little chaotic and trying to score a table in the lunch hour will test you. However, the wait and frustration are worth it. The tartine selections are simple gourmet. The coffee is great, and the kichen-to-table service is surprisingly fast. Additionally, the bakery offerings are plentiful and sumptuous.
Excellent food and service. Some of the best lamb plates and Mediterranean food I have had. The pickled carrots were amazing. The baked goods and coffee were excellent as well.
Second time to Boston for a short weekend with my wife. Stopped by here for breakfast, on the recommendation from a friends. Definitely worth it. Great little spot, great baked goods, and breakfast selection.
