The waitresses was very nice and friendly no kids menu and the lemonade tasted watered down too much

Went for the first time before a weekend Red Sox game. It was a great experience. Went with the friend who needs gluten free options and the waitstaff was very helpful in guiding her in her choices. The chicken tenders( not gluten free) were delicious. The scoop of potatoe salad, homemade pickles and pickled onions went great with the meal. The salt and pepper potatoes were a great starter. My friend had the ribs and enjoyed them. Definitely recommend this place. I will be back and bring friends

I have had the worst dining experience in my life at this restaurant. I have never been blatantly ignored. But, clearly, this is a non-negotiable for being a person of color, specifically Black in Boston. It started by waiting by the host stand for 3 1/2 minutes before even being acknowledged though a waitress stood directly in front of me. After observation, I know that this is common practice in this restaurant. Once seated, we were rushed to order appetizers, which were incorrectly rung up. Our waitress sat and chatted with colleagues while my party of three desperately tried to find anyone to answer our questions. After waiting 15 minutes to receive service again post putting in our appetizer orders, we finally were approached to put in our entree orders. I have a dietary restriction and do not eat pork, yet my side option had pork in it. After flailing around trying to get anyone to answer the question of whether or not the meat was pork, another server finally said yes. I was then prompted to switch out the side, which was terrible. After nearly choking on the chalk biscuits, I looked for water, but our waitress had not tried to refill our glasses the entire hour we were there. I began to realize that as more people were sat, their treatment vastly differed, and it was my Blackness that made me invisible to the staff. I spoke to the assistant manager about my experience, who was not sympathetic at all. I will never be returning or recommending anyone non-white to dine here. With all the pride flags hanging in the restaurant it is clear that inclusion is a performative act for this restaurant.

Was skeptical about BBQ in Boston but this rivals that of Texas. Sliced brisket and chopped brisket you can’t believe it. Huge smoke ring on the ribs. Sides were ok but go for the meat.

We saw this restaurant on Food Network and were excited to try it. It did not disappoint! Delicious food…amazing biscuits and BBQ, great beverages, and the staff was helpful and friendly.

I was recommended this restaurant by a family member and we really enjoyed it! The brisket was juicy, the chicken wasn't greasy, and the Cuban was flavorful. We all really loved the biscuits with the honey butter! My son also got the brownie which he said was a little too sweet but he removed some of the top layer cookie dough and enjoyed it more that way. Our only disappointment was our server Emma. Although she was very polite she would disappear for long periods of time so we had to wait a while for refills and we never saw her after she dropped the check off. We waited a while and thankfully another server was able to provide us with some change so that we could pay and head out. I would definitely come again if in the area.

Stopped in for some BBQ. I'm from Texas, and love my Texas BBQ. So I was wary. We ordered the sliced Brisket, Sausage links, and pulled pork. We also ordered a bucket of Biscuits. The food was very delicious! We were all blown away by the Biscuits. So much so that we ordered a bucket of Biscuits to go. We had them the next day, and they were still incredible! Brisket was moist and tender. Sausage links were sweet and perfect. Highly suggest for fans of Texas style BBQ.

Yea...I will never come here again. Drinks are mediocre. I ordered a shrimp poboy and the shrimp was extremely salty. My husband ordered the beef rib and while enormous was also very salty. The biscuit was good but not worth $4. The only plus is the fact that they were very accommodating to our large party.

Having failed to find seating due to the Red Sox after game hordes, we decided to order take out from Sweet Cheeks. Our order was ready on time, we picked it up and headed back to our room. We then discovered that our order of pulled pork had only one scoop (side) instead of the two promised. We decided not to walk back and simply opened up the rest of the order. The pulled pork was good, the ribs were okay, but neither tasted as if they had actually graced the inside of a smoker. Not much, if any, bark on the ribs and the rub was rather light in taste. We're used to full racks of St. Louis ribs smoked for 6 hours. These were not that. While the menu claimed it was a half rack, they must be buying suburban St. Louis racks given the small size of the portion. I suppose if you smother everything in sauce you wouldn't notice the lack of flavor. We agree with other reviews, the biscuits, though tasty are over priced. If you don't care that your BBQ lacks smoke, than you will be satisfied with Sweet Cheeks. For us it's not really Q without the smoke.

I would guess any of the meat trays or sandwiches are great. The short rib and brisket were both tasty and melt in your mouth tender. One biscuit per person is likely enough person (very large/dense). Baked beans are made with kidney beans. Sweet tea is very sweet; I recommend 2/3rds unsweetened and 1/3rd sweetened.
