Cool Boston bar. Jeff our bartender was great. Friendly and quick. Great place to stop if you're waiting for a train or before a Bruins or Celtics game. They also have pool tables there which is a nice bonus.
Bouncers aren’t concerned about anyones safety. Just there to get a paycheck. They practically left a girl for dead on the sidewalk. I don’t feel safe here and I’m not going back
Would give 0 stars if I could, bouncer left a girl passed out on the sidewalk outside because it’s “not their problem”. Would never feel safe going back there again
If Boston ( a GREAT city) was condensed into a bar, this is it. Friendly service, cheap, strong drinks and close to the Garden. A win. Not flashy, but a real Boston vibe.

Nice dive bar. Still am curious about only opening 2 hrs before game and closing at 11pm after game with full bar. Maybe to cut down on fight potential?
I didn't hear any slurs the whole time I was here. We dropped by before a Celtics game and there was a great crowd. Nice and loud in there so you can warm up your vocal chords before an event. Security didn't ask for my ID, that made me feel old, but that wasn't their fault. I guess I'm getting a little gray. Also it was pretty busy, so why would he? Maybe I just look for excuses to remind myself of my own mortality. Why is that? Oh yeah, Sullivan's also had quick service at the bar, and the beer was ice cold.
11:00 PM after a celtics game. Give the doorman a valid ID, no scanning machine or nothing. Asks me the year and then month, told him the month is "August, 8", as in the 8th month. Denies me entry with a valid ID because he can't hear. Also, when I began to say it's valid and argue with why I can't get in he began a timer, assuming there was a time he was gonna start swinging. I'd stay away if it was me.
