The food was great but surprised by the bill with 18% gratuity. We are a family of four with two kids 8 and 12 year olds. It wasn’t even a party or anything and yet the gratuity was $24 of the bill. We gave another $5 for a total of $170 just to get out of the place. The place was deserted and maybe that’s why. A lot of the orders were take out. We love the food but not the service. Next time we go to Boston we will skip the eat-in and go straight for the take-out.
Nice little place for something spicier. Got some familiar Sichuan style dishes.Crayfish were a bit small, but has good flavor.Added note... The Spicy Dumpling 辣死你餃子 is not that spicy... It won't kill you. Just make you sweat a little.
Everything I expected…..Amazing food. Stopped in for some noodles, service was fast and friendly, everything prepared fresh and served hot. Lots to choose from on the menu and super easy to follow.
Best Chinese in Boston!Absolutely loved the 5th level spicy soup skewers
The only thing worth getting is probably the skewers. I got crawfish and over half of them were black and rotten. I also got the pork cheek that still had a ton of pig fur on the skin.
Absolutely the best food I've ever had in my entire life. When I say I want asian food this is what I mean.
Being a lover of spicy ? food, this little gem in Chinatown has certainly slipped through my Boston cuisine tour for years. Spicy world offers skewer in a warm pot, stirred fried dish mixed with different kinds of spicy flavor, and even seafood selections such as crawfish or crabs. One can also balance the message with light and soothing taste of various kinds of porridge (we ordered fish fillet porridge, and it was delicious).Overall the skewer pot was spicy enough for most with level 3 (they have level 1-5). For those we can really handle some ?, give 4 or5 a try. The stirred fried dishes were tasty as well, I think they restaurant, despite its modest size, can be up against most of the Sichuan spicy dominated restaurants in Boston.A highly recommended place for spicy food lovers!
The veggie choices are very nice. The meat quality could be improved but the price would also go up if that happens. Overall good taste.
I’m very picky about Chinese food. This is ABSOLUTELY very authentic mama Mia!Highly recommend if you love spicy Chinese.
Spicy frog legs and pork intestines are superb. FOH staff are wonderful - tip them well. Make sure to order the plum juice to kill the heat.
