Dilapidated diner still serves good food even if I had to wait 21 minutes for a basic $10 breakfast, made to order at 6:30 am. Had to pass by a double security act and then face the bombastic Diamond in a glass Covid-proof section of the counter. Supposedly Boston’s best. Good not great, although I was entertained by the loud goings on involving staff and customers – me excluded, of course.
Popped in a few days after the marathon for some deserved pancakes, having read good reviews on here. Location wise it's not the best, however, it is worth the effort for a fabulous breakfast with great service. As mentioned I had pancakes, with bacon and the real treat of peanut butter. There was no issue with this unusual request, if anything it was appreciated.
This was close to my hotel so decided to give it a whirl. Well the food was so tasty, served quickly as well. The staff are so friendly and welcoming even though we made them work hard,, dropping spoons on the floor and being awkward. but we did run the Boston Marathon so they understood lol.. The music playing whilst you eat was also good.. various types but just good classics.. Give this place a try you won't be disappointed
Classic diner repertoire expertly executed. Staff was friendly. Portions filling and tasty. Service was quick. Greats eggs, Great waffles.
Amazing food! Best home fries I've ever had. Ordered the corned beef Benedict which was awesome. Gave it 3 starts bc they just need to expand ?highly recommend!
Very pleased with my experience at this diner. The staff were very kind and attentive and the food was delicious.
Super tiny but great food. There was a long wait so we decided to share a table with strangers. Parties of 2 have to wait for the bar stools. Parties of 4 can have a booth. Service was fast and friendly. My friend had breakfast, I had lunch. Food was excellent. Was worth the wait for sure.
Breakfast here was great. The portions were huge, and the food came out super quick. The day we went it was very cold outside, and my only complaint is that the diner was very cold inside.
Second time eating here... It can certainly be busy depending on the time of day. But what an affordable delicious greasy spoon double cheeseburger I had... Pro Tip, order extra toasted cuz the burger is quite JUICY... which is great. I am full, and happy.. and the waitress knew to bring napkins when I was thinking of asking. Overall a great service and delicious food. Stop in for sure.
I think this is the most traditional and typical Diner’s style restaurant in downtown. It has a great vibe that makes you comfortable and also they serve you a great meal. Just dive in a Burger then, all set!!
