This restaurant has incredible potential but suffers from inconsistency. Had a marvelous experience on a Thursday night that could rival the best of the best. Returned in the Saturday rush and simply seemed like no one knew how to keep up with a 75% full restaurant. Slow service would be a compliment, but a disorganized staff ruined the otherwise excellent food.
Wow the food is aaamazing! Wonderful flavors, fresh ingredients, beautiful menu. I wish we could have tried one of everything.Ricotta gnocchi & truffle, wild boar paparadelle, lamb cigar rolls, tuna tartare (which is normally served with another component they were out of, we opted to get it anyway), and two phenomenal desserts. Shoutout to our server Daniel whom was so friendly, accommodating, and offered us wonderful suggestions. Worth every penny, I'm excited to come back to this spot next time I'm in Boston!
Loved the food here. The staff is very friendly and the vibe of the place is great for a date. They had the best falafel i have had in my life. The hummus and tzatziki is to die for.The best part was the dessert : Kanafeh Cones. Must try. Do not miss this. I will keep going back to this place just for the dessert
Superb! The space is sleak and modern but still warm and inviting. Service was top notch and the food was outstanding. The attention to detail is evident in every authentic bite. We tried several apps and an entree. They must have just reworked the menu because it's much larger and more diverse than what we saw online. It's a very eclectic mix of mostly eastern Mediterranean cuisine with some Italian influence (the chef is from Rome). We started with the black garlic hummus and muhamarra (awesome) with ancient grain flat bread, meat cigars, figs wrapped in kataifi and tuna crudo with burrata coconut cream. All were amazing but the standout were the figs, they're honestly one of the best dishes I've ever had. We split the chicken tagine entree which was delicious but we couldn't finish because we had filled up on everything else. We spoke with the GM and chef who explained how some of the food is prepared, meticulously and all by hand. We look forwarding to returning as much as possible.
The food was so underwhelming & flavorless. The curry sambosek & the halloumi salad were good but the rest was underwhelming. Service was great.
Finally made the leap to visit this place on my list. Was not disappointed. The dinner and cocktail menus are concise and yet I still had a hard time choosing. You really cannot go wrong with any of the options. Everything is carefully thought out. Jordan, the bartender, and Dan, the waiter, were attentive and super helpful at describing each item. I'll be returning time and time again.
we had not only the best dinner evahh, our server mad us feel like we were family. we will be dining here often and will requesting Jordan every time!
We came with a group of 8 so we ordered a lot of items in the menu. We had a good time and the service was great. The food was good just not great for what you are paying.
What a hidden gem. The hospitality here is really beyond expectation. The chef, Claudio, will come and talk to you — he’s been around the world and has cooked every cuisine imaginable, and is still kind and hospitable. The bartender Jordan makes sure h has the perfect drink for you and Daniel the waiter will take the time to be sure you’re having an excellent experience. Beyond the hospitality, the food is an authentic Mediterranean experience made with care under Claudio. This is really worth the experience.
It was a great lunch place and cozy vibes. We came for a date and enjoyed our time. The food was good as well as the drinks. Definitely would come again.
