Food was amazing! We tried all 6 type of oysters, the octopus and the halibut. Everything was exceptional. Service was great. We sat outside so it could get noisy with all the traffic but overall would 100% recommend.

Fantastic food and drinks. EVERYTHING on menu is excellent...but you definitely pay a premium for that quality.
Overall I really enjoyed my dinner at Select Oyster Bar. My party and I sat at an outdoor table, which was a bit cramped but did the trick - So lovely to eat al fresco in the city on a warm summer night. I noticed on the website before I came that a 20% tip is added to every bill, which is always typically a signal to me that the service might not end up being great - In my experience, servers who don't need to work for their tips don't try as hard. My prediction was pretty spot on - Our waiter was totally disinterested in us and not enthusiastic at all. When I needed a refill I made a point to make direct eye contact with him a couple of times and he completely ignored me.. Kind of disappointing. Not outright rude, but not great. The food, however, was absolutely spectacular. Really top-notch, fresh seafood. Very pricey, but I think justified. And the ambience, decor and set-up of the inside is divine. Really swanky, sophisticated vibes. I will definitely go back. 4/5 stars.

I had a big lunch. Came here for dinner and had the anchovies and the mussels. It was perfect. Highly recommend
Yes, I would recommend this place to a friend. I think the staff is too busy to be attentive to each table.
