Great chocolate, but extremely over priced in the US.

Friendly Staff. Chocolate here is great! Very unique and delicious without a doubt

The chocolate is unique and delicious. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Very nice and they gave an extra bar for free!

Japanese chocolate shop that specializes in milk chocolates.Royce chocolates have been one of my favorites chocolates ever since I tried them in Tokyo couple of years ago, and I was excited to find their store in Boston. Their soft texture is a huge differentiating factor from other generic or European chocolates, and although the prices are double what you would pay for in Japan, they were still worth getting. They still had a fence right near the entrance to limit in store shopping, so it was somewhat difficult to browse through their menu. Nevertheless, I will come back to get my favorite milk chocolates and their new flavors. If you’re a fan of soft chocolates, I recommend trying them out.

Good service, but u can only look at their menu instead of looking at shelf right now

Very rude staff. We could understand the current covid situation but the service was very awful. Customers are not allowed to look around and the staff doesn't want to explain more about their product either. The staff lady seems like doesn't want to spend any second with the customer, that's not the service we had in a Japanese brand shop worldwide.

Interesting idea, but I found the chocolate here very underwhelming. These tasted like treats my 8 year old would try to make when I'm not watching. They're not fudge, but they're not quite hard chocolate. It almost tastes like chewed up chocolate cake. As for the actual hard chocolate here, I wouldn't bother. I didn't like the texture nor the flavor of the cocoa they use. I've tried ROYCE at a couple locations now, but I really wouldn't recommend it.

This place is so charming. I love the bittersweet hot chocolate and they have beautiful caramels and sweets also. It’s a warm inviting atmosphere.
