It's probably one of bostons top night club. Its line are very long after dark.. so try to sneak in early. It definitely gets very crowded and the bars are everywhere and it's super loud inside. Their DJs are dope. Early bird tickets are free so book them on an app called DICE and enjoy your night. Hope you get lucky there. ?

Basically every event I've attended here has been incredible. Boston's best concert venue, retro vibes are great. I've been many times and had no problems with security, bathrooms, coat check, or anything. Drinks are pricey but par for the course. There's a two drink minimum for credit card, and they have an ATM. That said, I definitely wouldn't go when there's not an event, kind of lackluster.

Do not purchase concert tickets here. The management is incompetent at ensuring people have blue wristbands and will remove people for any reason. If the bouncers and bartenders could logically communicate this then fine, but to admit that your bartender mistakenly served us without a blue wristband and to follow someone and pull them out is completely inappropriate. Refusing to let someone speak to a manager is completely inappropriate. Will follow up on this.

Bottle service staff people were excellent but overworked. These stars are for them.We reserved a table on the balcony. The coordinator did not give us enough information about what to expect, methods of payment, or when we would be allowed into the venue until the day before. The time the coordinator asked us to arrive was different from what the tickets said, which meant we needed to adjust other reservations before the show. All communication was handled through text.During the evening, several random people traipsed through our private party. Not surprising, since there was no demarcation of our space. The party next to us was so large that they had no choice but to take up some of our space too. There did not seem to be a limit on how many people they could cram into a small area. When one, clearly high person from neither party was asked to leave the space, he refused and waited for security to escort him away. He made obscene gestures at our group for the rest of the night and then made false accusations against people in the group to get management involved. Management did not identify themselves to us when came into the space and started asking questions, so we didn't know who they were. They did not communicate clearly and were generally rude. It felt like we were an inconvenience to them while spending upwards of $2000.The space was dirty, sloppily and sparsely decorated, and generally uncomfortable. In comparison with the other spaces on the same block, this was really surprising. Everything else in the area was nicer and yet more affordable.

To start with, I wish I could post the video of the security lady here. I came with few friends (including one visiting from abroad). Me and one of my friends decided to check the downstairs area, we went there for a second and decided to go back with our friends in the upstairs area. When we did that the security lady was extremely rude saying we could not go up, not even to get our coats. She kept screaming “get out” and I do have the video of that.I firmly spoke to her saying that I at least needed my coat, so she finally decided to go there and get it. The only thing that upsets me is that they were letting people in - people in the same situation as me and my friend - but not us. I’m not sure if it was because of our accents or whatever, whichever was the case, we do not treat people like that!Never going back to this place and I wish they do not treat people like they did to us.

Came here on a Saturday night around 10:00 PM for a night out with friends. The line was very long but moved quickly. The night as a whole was just okay but then we ended up in a terrible confrontation with the staff there. While we were outside standing in the rain to leave, a group of people gathered around a man who was seriously inebriated. When trying to take the drunk man’s pulse, one of the people was confronted by a security guard from the club who accused him of trying to steal the man’s watch (the watch was on his wrist where he was trying to take a pulse). The security continued to escalate the situation, cursing and screaming at us and the people trying to help the man (who at this point was passed out on the bus stop bench). By the time the security intervened, 911 was already called, however they started to pick a fight with my friend and I for trying to stand up for the man they were accusing of pickpocketing. One of them even stood in my face, threatening me and followed me into the street into oncoming traffic. We kept walking and she went back to the bus stop and proceeded to vape her vape pen furiously.Additionally, there were a lot of pushy men touching us all throughout the night and pushing themselves on us on the dance floor.I understand covid has taken a toll on everyone, but the security here seems to like to escalate situations unnecessarily for some kind of power trip. Very unprofessional, we will likely not be returning to this venue.Positives: The venue itself is very nice, spacious, well decorated. The bartenders were quick and efficient.

Absolutely stunning venue for a concert. The safe were great at managing those attending and they had decent bathrooms and a couple coat checks. The architecture is a work of art.

Great place, HOWEVER, some specific group of people need to shower and put deodorant before hitting the dance floor, and everyone knows who I’m talking about!!

I worked with TJ the VIP Director at Royale to get a table and he was amazing. There was some mix up with our bill and he was so kind in helping me through it. On the night we were there, he gave us some amazing extra perks that made the night really special. Highly recommend!

Place is great , people who leave bad reviews about the security have 8/10 times been completely disrespectful to them in one way or another and don’t know how to act when someone returns the energy back to them, seen it first hand so many times don’t listen to the h8rs , never had a bad time here , just be respectful to the staff and you have nothing to worry about. Still one of the better clubs in boston and a lot cheaper than the grand ??‍♂️
