Awesome taste and quality as always! We often say they have maintained their taste and quality over decades. One of the best finds in Boston where people come back even after decades!
Best pineapple fried rice and pad Thai, can't go wrong with adding some scallion pancakes. Definitely try the Thai iced tea, amazing!
Every other time I order take out. Something is always missing. And I have been eating here for years. Who wants to eat there food with no drink.
Food is not more than OKBut....service Is horrible ...rude don't listenCharge for takeaway boxesDon't accept add-ons credit card paymentDon't clean tge tablesEven if you ask them 3 timesAnd if you do they will come out and shout at you next to other customers
Overall we were pretty happy. A good solid Thai meal. Vegetables were fresh. Both dinners were perfectly sauced. Drunken noodles were really spicy. Ginger stir fry was good. Not great, but good. The same goes for the dumplings. Good, not great. We had pork as the protein on both. It was tender and perfectly cooked. There was a generous amount of pork as well. Watch the description on the menu. Meals that typically come with rice don't always at Rod Thai. It's an extra charge. Our order was ready and hot when we arrived and all the setups and condiments in the bag.
would go to the first rod Dee as a kid, and the food here is just as I remember. one of my favorite restaurants I've eaten at.
This place servers fantastic Thai food. The crew is awesome. They made the experience memorable. If you visit Baltimore do visit this place for some delicious food.
Seriously one of my most favorite pad thai spots. Food is cheap, good quality, and fast. There are a few Thai places in this particular area, but this one always remains my favorite.
I like some of their dishes, but what is this closing down from 3-4 pm business? The other day I tried to place an order around 330 pm on a weekend. The phone rang off the hook. After trying this I went down to that area to see if they were closed. I noticed the sign on the door closed, and we take a break from 3-4. Problem is, it was slightly after 4 and they were still just sitting around in there and not once got up to re-open after seeing me approach the door. So I went somewhere else. I like your food but I guess if you don't appreciate my business I will go somewhere else. I mean, it's a weekend day, all the eateries are busy and this place just closes mid-day? Okay, have at it. I don't have to have Thai, and there are other Thai places around. Serious businesses stagger their breaks so they can remain open for business.
My favorite thai food spot by FAR. If you like spicy, get the Indonesian Fried Rice with Crispy Chicken. They went previously cash only but went digital during Covid times. Easy and quick service.
