We love the huevos rancheros at the Railstop. The food in general is quite good. Unfortunately we must have hit them on an off day. The host was indifferent, the waitress very slow and, most surprisingly, our cappuccinos were unrecognizable -- no foam, very bitter, served in the wrong cup. We sent them back and they came back to us just as bad -- and cold! So unfortunate. We will give the restaurant another try -- the ambience is quite nice, e.g., tall ceilings, large windows, however there is a real quality control problem. They are not charging discount prices, so let's hope they read this and make the service and beverage improvements necessary!!

Service + ambience was great, however the food and drinks were subpar. I will not be returning

Please try the steak tips and the ricotta pancakes. This is the best brunch restaurant in Boston and I don’t know how they don’t have a huge waitlist every day. The food is delicious and the service was great. The food is also very reasonably priced compared to the extremely nice interior. My girlfriend noticed that all of the furniture and interior decor was immaculately done and they clearly didn’t skimp on any of the decor. They also have a bar if you would like to sit there instead. There is also adequate outdoor seating. We really liked the server as well and seriously the food was so good. The steak tips are really tender and flavorful. My girlfriend thought the ricotta pancakes tasted like ice cream in the best way possible. We also got the barbecue chicken pizza and it wasn’t as good as everything else but it was still very good.

It’s always a good meal at railstop and the Manhattan’s are fantastic

The rail stop was great - food was very good- waitress was excellent.

The food was ok, nothing to write home about with one exception, the devils on horseback—dates stuffed with feta, wrapped with bacon, drizzled with a balsamic reduction. Service was slow but very polite and pleasant.

Great looking restaurant. Service was great but food was below average and prices were above average. Will not be back.

We had an excellent meal and drinks at the RailStop. Here in Boston for BC Orientation and this restaurant was close by, open on Monday and overall excellent. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. Cocktails were yummy, appetizers of fried pickles and roasted Brussels sprouts were excellent. I had the Chef's Risotto with Shrimp and others had Salmon and Tuna Poke. All excellent!

Excellent food. Atmosphere and service are great, all of the wait staff are very friendly. I had the fried pickles, margherita pizza (pictures), and an ice tea, which were all great. Service was quick compared to other restaurants of its type. Pizza was fantastic; perfectly cooked with bold flavors and a perfect balance. Highly recommend.

They are on the pricier side of things, however they are well worth the money. The drinks are well made (one of the best Manhattans I've had out to eat) and the food is excellent. The bourbon steak tips are delicious, as was the lobster mac! I would suggest this to anyone looking for a bite to eat before taking in a show at Roadrunner across the street!
