I liked to order from this place. I had lots of good experiences dining and taking out here. I even recommended this place to friends. But this time, the rice is definitely leftover. They scrambled together and tasted like leftover from a few days ago.

The Indian cuisine selection in Boston isn't great, but Punjab Palace stands out for sure. I ate so much food I got sick (my fault for eating too much lmao), and I was shocked to see it was only 24 bucks! I even had leftovers! The mixed platter appetizer is incredible value, highly recommend it.

I'll start by saying that this used to be one of my favorite restaurants in Boston for over 10 years! I used to choose to go here for holidays, birthdays, date-nights you name it. I love their curries & vindaloos most..as well as their appetizers & breads. If you ask them for SPICY they actually make it spicy unlike their counterparts. Service is always quick & friendly too. Unfortunately the last few times I ordered the chicken tikka appetizer the chunks of chicken were so big & they had a weird texture (almost as if not cooked all the way through.) We ended up tossing them in the trash & hoping it was a fluke. Sadly, it continues to happen so we stopped frequenting them as much. It gets expensive to throw away takeout these days. It's also unfortunate that despite my bringing it to their attention years ago they still put the chicken tikka in a container that's constructed of very thin plastic (made for salads!) & wrap it in tin foil. The heat from the chicken causes the plastic to break, releasing toxins into the food, & the juices spill EVERYWHERE! The carpet in my car is stained because of this occurring 3 years ago. It is an easy fix & I'm sure I'm not the only person who has brought this to their attention especially with the amount of takeout they do (Door Dash, Uber Eats, Grub Hub.) Do I like Punjab Palace? Yes! I still randomly eat here when I'm craving a quick, inexpensive, Indian lunch. Do they have some kinks to work out? Absolutely! Consistency & quality is key.

Really good Indian food at an absurdly low price. It's amazing especially when you consider the costs of the other restaurants just down the street from there. Service is also amazing - always worth going if you're in the area looking for Indian food!

Pretty good. Loved the chicken coconut korma, and the goat curry, and the kulfi. Disappointed with the garlic naan.Pocket friendly place to go when you're craving Indian. Might visit again. Photo attached: kulfi.

What a sad, sad experience. I’ve never had bad chicken tika masala. This is a dish that should always satisfy. This and my wife’s order of the chili paneer were both so sadly disappointing that - what can I say - it made us sad.

Ordered takeout from here tonight, as we have before. Overall, good food!Food: 4/5We got the vegetable samosas, which are very good. Not too dry. For entrees, we got the chicken tikka masala, chicken biryani, and Dal makhani. The CTM is good and standard, the biryani is flavorful, and the dal has good flavor with good textured lentils. Entrees come with white rice as well. Lastly, we got the naan & garlic naan, both good but a little dry.Service: 5/5Ready on time and all items were accurate. Food was warm when we got back.

I first tried Punjab Palace last summer and I’ve been hooked ever since. I’ve now turned many of my friends into loyal fans of this restaurant and we eat here at least a few times a month. It really is that good. We’ve tried many of their dishes and they were all full of excellent, rich flavor and spiced to order which is always nice. The service is also always great and you get free papadums when you dine in, which many other restaurants would charge for. Not to mention the price is relatively affordable considering how much food you get, especially if you go for lunch when it’s even cheaper. I’ve eaten at Punjab Palace too many times to count and I have never had a bad experience. I would even go as far as to say it’s my favorite Indian restaurant that I’ve tried in the US. The food is always delicious and I will continue to come back often.

This was my first time ever having Indian cuisine. My life has changed. A beautiful establishment, service was excellent, food made me happy.

I really had a bad experience here. I ordered biryani and all I got was rice stuffed with veggies and non-veg added to it. Both chicken and mutton added to it were smelling raw and the taste was just horrible. It is nothing like Indian food. If you are expecting a Indian biryani this is a place to avoid. The restaurant does even look to be hygienic
