Accidentally came across this 4.3 establishment and I am surprised why it is high as it is. Below are all the reasons, why I really think you can save your money and go somewhere else if you are craving Latin American fried Chicken:1. It’s not fried chicken. See picture. that is not the $16 fried chicken advertised in their menu picture. It’s straight up chicken tenders. And incredibly soggy ones, when I took a bite there and then. I asked the lady who gave me my food to confirm there was no misunderstanding, due to the reason below. She confirmed this is the fried chicken that they sell. I came home and refried them in the air fryer. I might have had better luck with the grilled chicken.2. Environment and Ambience. I entered the establishment, which had the loudest music, louder than most raves I have been to. I decided then I couldn’t sit here and was going to take my food home. The music also contributed to the negative experience that I had with them since I am not even sure the lady taking my order could hear what I was saying.3. False advertisement on the fries? They didn’t have fries, they gave me fried plantains. also incredibly soggy. They should be advertised as mashed plantains perhaps.4. I also order their cheese papusas, which was good so that might be where the 4.3 is coming from.Typically I read bad reviews, and think oh it’s only one person, but if you scroll below you will notice that other people have had pretty consistent bad experiences. I hope the owners do something about it. For starters, actually give fried chicken.
I love this place so much the rice is beyond amazing the chicken soup is amazing the people there will make sure you get exactly what you want idk what else to say besides this is the best Spanish food spot I’ve ordered from being that I am pregnant they make sure I get exactly what I want to eat they even remade chicken soup for me due to me being allergic to celery most places will not do that for you I honestly love this place and will never stop ordering from them ?❤️
The food was edible. However it wasn't great. First of all the guisado de res. Was mediocre at best the sauce was uninspiring had a little flavor to it, but over all was flat. meat was dry eventhough it was drowned in a watery sauce that tasted like little effort was put into it. The Roman beans I got was watery flavorless and flat Cascade of liquid. My over all meal was okay.... They weren't joking when they said this place had a "unique seasoning"
The food is good when they make what I order and stop adding onions. I have written no onions and still. The mangu was like farina. Not good. The 3 leches cake has a sad 1/4 slice of cherry on it. other then that good. The bitec and rice and beans are excellent

The food was ok, though both the pupusa and the Faux-chimichanga we're burnt. The salmon was good, but it was not worth 20. They told me the side offer was plantain, french fries or fried sweet potatoes. Then I opened my order and found white yam slices.NOT WORTH THE MONEY! They won't get any more from me.
The chicken was tasty and cooked just how I like it! I’m not into slimy chicken my preference is tender and drierThe flavor was bussin! Not overpowering and complimented the bird.However the portion compared to price is a bit absurd$12 for half of a small bird can be disappointing.Nevertheless I’d most likely go back!Kudos to pollo lounge
