Went out for duck and had to leave two places because they didnt have it despite us asking before we sat. This place had it though. It was just slightly overdone or I'd give it 5 stars. Other than that everything else was awesome. Friendly, fast service. Dining room was pretty small but felt cozy. We also got the lo mein with beef, chicken and shrimp and it was all cooked perfectly.Definitely going back there soon to try the seafood.
Pékin duck 80$ us dollar. Come to Montréal Chinatown and you will taste the best pékin duck for 30$ cad
We go there at least once a month dispite it being quite the commute. The food is amazing, I really recommend the bean curd. The staff are kind and if you go at 3-4 you'll have the whole place to yourself. The wait is super short and like I said, everything is really tasty
We have been coming to this restaurant with our family for 25 years. Same owners during all that time and the food is reliably fabulous. Best in Chinatown. Great hours. Recommendations: 4 delights of sea in a nest; spicy dry fried salty squid and shrimp; sea clams with garlic shoots.
Really enjoyed the flavors of the dishes we got especially the Fish maw and shredded duck soup. They were not too salty which is generally a concern of mine at restaurants. Very friendly staff as well! Would definitely go back next time.
They call this orange chicken…Don’t be deceived by the size of each chicken finger, this overpriced $16 order is actually only a handful of chicken strips similar to the size of a McDonald French fry and heavily coated in flour. These are chicken fingers deceptively covered in sauce. Also the chicken taste drier than dog food.In a period when customer service is key to business success, they wouldn’t even consider exchanging my order upon my expression of dissatisfaction. The food quality (at least for orange chicken) for this restaurant has fallen in quality over the years. Try somewhere else.
Favorite Cantonese dishes: salt and pepper squid or shrimp, tofu stuffed with shrimp, garlic stir fried watercress or pea pod shoots. Reasonable prices, fast service and complimentary warm tapioca pearl|taro|sweet potato dessert too.
Service was good. Waiting was 5 min for Saturday night dine in. Food too salty for me. Environment too noisy.
A cheap place with big portions! My companion and I each got one item, and we weren't able to finish it all! We only finished one dish and had 2 plate fulls of one and one plate full of the other. The sweet and sour pork chops were amazing. The sauce was almost too sweet but wasn't. The pork chops were crispy but not heavy. The noodles were also sweet but not overly so. There were little pickled radishes spread throughout, adding a nice crunchy and savory touch to the noodles. The servers were nice, and we had a good meal.
