I had been out walking and needed a coffee badly. After attempting to find several coffee shops the woman and mother juice told me to go across the street and I'm glad I did! I had a black coffee which is what I always consume and it was surprisingly delightful. I was expecting one of those super dark extra bitter nasty coffees and it was just the opposite bright and delicious. They also have bagel sandwiches etc for breakfast which seemed very good. I ordered the Harper bagel. I think if you're in the area and need coffee you should definitely go here it's way better than a chain
Grabbed lunch from here, the chopped salad was seriously amazing!! I want to try more of the menu but it will be hard to not get that again. Also tried the raspberry loaf and monster bar, both were great!
Pavement was great! This was the second Pavement location we went to in Boston and we loved both. This one is a smaller location with a quaint feel. The bagels and lattes we had were exceptional! Pavement roasts their own coffee and are doing a great job at it! Pavement is a must for anyone visiting Boston!
One of the best bagels I have had!!! Crunchy, salty and so perfect for an everything. Iced coffee was delicious, and the staff were fantastic.
Good food and coffee decent price but they need better inventory control the were out of a lot of product including decaf
Stumble upon this place by accident and it was the best thing to happen to me. The bagel I had was delicious!! Had the Turkey sandwich on an everything bagel and it was so good. Never knew turkey, lettuce, tomato, bacon and garlic chive cream cheese on a bagel could be so delicious. Definitely go out of your comfort zone and try different bagels here. Worth the price.
Friendliest staff I've ever come across. Been here twice on two trips to Boston. Both times the best service and terrific fresh food. Today one of the staff overheard me say I ordered the wrong item and they immediately brought the item I meant to order. And they were busy. Will be going there every time I'm back in Boston.
Food is great and staff are fantastic. It's busy and there's a wait on orders but it's fresh. They seem to run out of items so get in early.
Good food. Feel bad for staff. Online order tells you order ready and it’s not. 20 min after order said ready for a bagel w/ cream cheese and a latte. Place is busy but again the online ordering is wack and staff is getting asswhipping
We were just there recently and happy we found an easy in/out place with fresh thick bagels with various egg or other toppings and they also had muffins and some croissants. Everything was fresh. I had the black ice tea and loved it. Hubby had a regular coffee. He did say it (the coffee) tasted different than traditional coffee. We both had very fresh thick well filled bagels. The people working here were as professional and kind as could be if you ask me. They offer quick to go orders. It is open early on Newbury Street if you are staying there which we were. It is at the ground level down the stairs and small with some small inside tables. It was a good fit for us because we are early birds.
