I loved this place!!!! I ate here every single day of my Boston trip. This has hands down the best lobster roll I have ever tried. The workers here treat you like family and help you decide what to get! They put a good amount of lobster on the roll and this place is surprisingly cheaper than surrounding lobster shacks. I 10/10 recommended the hot buttered lobster roll and trust me upgrade to fries from chips. The chowder is also very good, but the star is obviously the lobster roll.
Went on a Sunday around 345, not very busy luckily! There is limited seating inside, maybe 10 stools around.Ordered a hot butter lobster roll and paid the $3 upgrade for fries instead of chips. $34.23 totalFirst time trying a lobster roll and it was delicious. Very buttery, roll was kinda sweet it all just tied together well. ?? picture speaks for itself and the fries are crispy and delicious.
I've lived nearby for years and Pauli's never disappoints. Not much seating so grab your food and head to the greenway or the harborwalk to enjoy it.
This tiny place was bangin'! We walked in to a packed house with delivery guys continually running in and out, customers waiting in a deep line, all seats filled... We almost turned away, but my gut told me this was the place. THIS IS THE PLACE! The warm Lobster roll, with its HUGE chunks, was killer. But they also make so many very unique and, I'm sure, tasty sandwiches that I wished I could try LOL This is the first place I'm gonna stop at when I get back to Boston
I came here after Googling the best lobster rolls in Boston. The lobster roll was good, but way too small. $28 for a hot dog bun topped with lobster and a bag of chips. I get that lobster isn't cheap, but I could've used more meat and a bigger roll for the price.
I do not go the extent to produce bad reviews. However, this dish was disrespectful. The chicken in my dish looks and taste like McDonald’s Chicken Nugget replica. The penne was undercooked and close to crunchy. They only thing that was close to decent was the sauce. $15 for what?
Came here on business trip as I heard they have the best lobstah rolls and they were right. Absolutely amazing. Fresh and delicious. Will definitely be back for another before I leave.
Wish we had come here more often while in the Northeast. The hot buttered lobster sandwich was the best I've had in the year we've lived in the area. Not overcooked, chewy, or rubbery. Hopefully we can make it here one more time before leaving!
Had the Italian aug. Very fresh ingredients. Great tasting role that is often hard to find. Off the beaten trail but worth it.
Ordered a steak and cheese and there was barely any steak. Called to address the issue and the woman on the phone told me it’s always been a 1/2lb price went up but the amount of steak didn’t change. I said I come pretty understand prices go up but there is no steak in this sub. She said “the steak gets lost in the roll, the roll is big.” Shes sorry but that’s how is it. And that was all I got. I just want people aware that if they are looking for a good steak and cheese it’s not from here and NOT worth $13.
