Love this venue so much. As a 30 something it gives me underground pizza pub with a secret punk rock club in the back vibes from the late 90s early 2000s. It’s small, intimate and I’d you wanna be close enough to feelthe sweat of your favorite musicians…this is your place. It has two bars located far enough apart to keep the lines short. For the concert I went to there was security at the bathrooms (likely not to keep anyone safe but to recheck our stamps to make sure we were legit ticket holders)But still good on them for being strategically placed. Entry was smooth and honestly much less painless then other venues around town. Sound was amazing and overall it was an amazing experience. My only complaint. Comes down to parking. While the venue themselves don’t offer parking, something does need to be done to create a safe experience for concert goers. I don’t know what that could look like, but something. As a solo female concert goer … walking back to my car at night alone is never a good time. And this venue was one of the worst I’ve been to when it comes to that. It might actually be the worst. Aside from that…highly recommend.

This venue is pretty accommodating. The sound system is well placed, they have a main floor and an upstairs, all standing room. The upstairs does have a good amount of seating with cushioned benches built into the wall, with some tables. If you are looking for some drinks, this venue houses 3 bars, 2 downstairs and the other upstairs. Enjoy!

Swung by the paradise for Gary Numan. Loved the venue. It was a lot smaller than I had anticipated, which made for a more intimate experience. Security was friendly and easy getting through, unlike some other venues. My only complaint about the actual venue are the giant poles on the floor. Sucks if someone is stuck behind those. Parking can be kind of far if a spot isn't reserved ahead of time. I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for future events.

Although i am leaving a single star for my overall experience at this venue, I would like to point out the good, notable things. The bartenders were super cool. The venue was nice. The line didn’t take too long to get in. Other than that, i am absolutely APPALLED at the way the security here treats their attendees. It’s gross how you employ men that continue to use their power to threaten and hurt people. There are SO many comments discussing the security here and it seems you have done nothing about it. I agree with the other review that mentioned that they have some serious aggression issues, and go on total power trips. This team needs to be revised. After being suffocated by the crowd and afraid for our safety, my boyfriend and I went against the back wall and took a little kneel. The tall, larger man with a grey beard approached us. As a security guard, we figured he was just checking on us to make sure everything was ok. Boy we were wrong. He called me super profane names such a the b word and c word after he ripped our wristbands off and told me and my boyfriend we were “too drunk” to be in the venue. He blatantly lied and said the reason he was kicking us out was because we pushed him earlier, which is simply not true. We flew all the way halfway across the country to see this show and not even see the main artist, before this guy went on a total power trip. It was honestly heartbreaking. We told him that he could take our wrist bands, we didn’t need to drink, that’s not why we were there. He and the whole rest of your security laughed in our faces. unfortunately, he probably won’t get any consequences for his actions. We understand that we don’t have a RIGHT to be in the venue, it’s just so incredibly frustrating the team that has been chosen to run this place. It will eventually catch up when the people have had enough. I have never been treated with such disrespect and harassed by a group of people. Please do better.

I went to see Cordae & Justine Sky. It was a good experience. The line was crazy, but that was to be expected. It didn't take long to get in. I was able to stay out of the crowd, and still be comfortable. The bartenders were amazing! The show was high energy. I had a great time.

Intimate venue. 2 floors but you will be close to people. The vibe now is pretty similar to pre covid times as in a lot of people dgaf about keeping their distance. Pre covid and now I would recommend when you go in, head straight to the back of the venue, which ends up being on the right hand side of the stage in front of the main merch area. People were slightly more spread apart over here and the no huge poles blocking your view like the other side. Drinks are averagely priced for venue. Mixed drinks are small, bud light is $7, high noon $10. Bathrooms average for venue type, worse as the night goes on lol. One notable fact was that there was toilet paper all night long! All staff I interacted with were fine. They did end up asking for ID and vaxx card on the way in as per the boston city mandate. All staff were wearing masks.. patrons... not so much. To be expected. Not going to sugar coat it, if you have covid anxiety, the place is tight, would recommend prob staying home. The venue is small and in most areas, no social distancing (just think concert pre pandemic ?‍♀️). All in all a decent place with lower ticket prices than the bigger venues and well known acts. (Many food options on this street.. Blaze Pizza is next door for quick wood fired personal pizza).. Parking can be tricky, you'll likely have to drive up and down both sides of the main drag to find a vacant meter spot (they don't charge at night of course) and BU is on the same street so can be tricky but always find something.

A nice intimate live music venue. Social distancing was a challenge but we were able to get close to the stage that was just 4 feet off the ground!

Great place to see a band. It's got 2 levels and there is a bar on each level. Drinks were reasonably priced.

Everyone that works here has serious aggression issues - especially the heavy set woman employee with short curly hair. She creepily lurks around looking for any reason to kick out paying customers. We were thoroughly and aggressively searched while we entered the establishment by employees who reeked of weed, yet we get kicked out for being “too intoxicated” after a few beers. Make it make sense. I will never be returning here and have warned many people not to come here either.

Saw The Elovaters Here, First time at the venue. You can feel that a lot of talent has walked through this place. And I’m lucky to have seen talent like the Elovaters play here.
