I found this hidden gem on Maps, went in SO HUNGRY, and got blessed by this meal!! I had the flat noodles with chicken and it was incredible. Flavorful, great textures, beautiful color. The vibes are fun and fresh, the staff is very friendly and helpful. I recommend you treat yourself!
We catered an event through Pad Thai Cafe and were so happy with the food! Everything was fresh, delicious and high quality. The service was also so kind. I appreciated their help and will order from them again for future events. Many people asked me where I ordered the food and wanted to visit Pad Thai Cafe themselves after trying it.
I got some curry and Indonesian fried rice. The Indonesian fried rice was pretty good but the curry was disappointing and it was not what I expected. The curry was all smothered into the rice and in the past when I had ordered a curry on its own it came without rice but in a big tub of its own totally not a one person is serving. I ordered some extra rice and noodles and the steamed rice came in some kind of plastic wrap packaging which I found strange.
I ordered coconut soup and yellow curry. The soup was good but too sweet. The yellow curry was dry, potatoes were undercooked and the red and green peppers were old. Not only that the chicken had no taste at all and needed salt. Avoid!
I ordered Pad See Ew w/ tofu. The food was served soon and still hot. The portion was enough for me, and the noodle was tasty.
If you want authentic Thai food, you have to come here. Their ba mee song kruang is a stir fried egg noodle with roast pork, fish balls, ground pork, crispy wontons, Chinese broccoli, bean sprouts and ground peanuts and it was so delicious! A little spicy for me because I can’t handle spice like that but the flavors were mm mm. Good portion for one too. Thai iced tea was pretty nom as well. Going to return and try everything on the menu!
Being a college student in boston, the food has honestly been quite mids, however, near Berklee college of music there’s one hole-in-the-wall that I would say is worth your time. The insides are orange and green with fake bricks lining the bottom portion of the wall. It almost feels a TV set but in a Seinfeld type of way. There’s a large mirror that spans the back of the wall which allows you to look at yourself while eating. This can be very entertaining at times if you know what I mean. Like seriously though, you have to know what I mean. My go to orders are the Red curry with tofu, kra pow fried rice, and of course their pad Thai. The duck pad see ew is also quite nice and my friends frequently order it. I always steal pieces of their duck when they get it. It’s quite good. The curries have a nice level of spice and the creaminess of your dreams. Anyways, this place is exactly what it is, a small offshoot that caters to college students and people looking for a quick bite, possibly some of the next people to become doctors, musicians (Grammy winners too), businessmen, and people who will be forgotten. As a student at Berklee college of music I really appreciate that this place is nearby and always serves fire eats when I’m in need. it’s affordable and only about $10-12 for a massive plate of food that will leave you wanting to sleep and take a Spanish style ciesta. On dark days, I turn to pad Thai cafe, and those days happen often because it’s the winter in boston. Take my word, take the leap. You WILL enjoy this place. And if you deny the curry’s creaminess, maybe there’s a better place for you. But this place is exactly what it needs to be, and you can’t really complain - it’s a humble safe-space for everyone to enjoy fresh Thai food that is prepared quickly. It’s worth my money.
Best value in Fenway. Fenway is grossly overpriced and this place is my go to for quality food on a budget of less then 15$. (Usually 12$ for a plate) very authentic. One time I have some veggies that didn’t taste great but usually extremely delicious.
This place is ???We got the pho and basil fried rice. The pho is rich and spicy and the rice is complex and delicious. Will definitely come back next time we're in the area!
Authentic. Fresh. Consistent. Truly one of if not the best Thai restaurants in Boston. Very reasonable prices and great portions as well. Tom yum noodle soup is a personal favorite! Try the country style Pad Thai
