When I go out to spend money I earned with a restaurant I don't ever get my money worth. I get more of the rice and beans never enough meat with the food. I know I wasn't spending their money, I am spending mines.

Best beef patties everything else questionable. Store is a outdated Hot mess. Cashier takes your order through a 1980s bulletproof toll booth, So you know it's super ghetto. Occasionally you'll see a Roach duty wine across the counter . But in Mattapan they consider that live entertainment

I’ve gone to P&r for years they’ve always been rude but it’s something I just looked pass. I went and got three patties and a medium ice cream the ice cream was freezer burnt when I asked if I would be able to switch it out they told me the ice cream couldn’t be freezer burnt because they just got a new freezer I open the ice cream and showed them the lady behind the counter than said she couldn’t exchange it due to covid. So I paid $5 fir two scoops of ice cream that were freezer burnt they could have easily threw the ice cream away and given me another flavor but it’s fine I plan to take my business elsewhere everyone makes patties :)
