Wow! I ordered the 9 course omakase and it was a fantastic experience. It was way too much food for me but I know which ones I'd definitely order again. We've tried A5 wagyu beef in the past in providence and vegas and didn't understand the hype until we tried it here. Everything was awesome!

My husband and I went for a special date night dinner. The food was delicious. We ordered the treasure spoon, lobster dumplings, hamachi truffle, the maki, and for dessert we had the coconut sphere. Everything was beautifully presented and very delicious. Highly recommend.
I would have driven right by Oishii, let alone walk right by it. You can tell it's Oishii by the little "O" on the sign above the door. But then you walk in and it is still understated. Keep walking and just hear me out... If you are not sure what to order, grab a cocktail and take a look (and smell) what others around you are ordering. I would not have ordered the Smoked Hamachi appetizer that comes out under this pedestal like thing smoking, unless the gals next to me did. The server then presents it to you...Voila! It's not just about the presentation...The thing smells like something not of this world. And tastes like it smells. I just do not have words. We also had the Toro Tartare, which had an equally grand presentation and tasted just as amazing. For entrees, we had the White Tiger roll and some sashimi. The sashimi were no small slices, mind you. Oishii does not skimp when slicing here. Overall, just an amazing evening and well worth the $$$$.
The food tastes ok. Not authentic Japanese food but some dishes quite creative. However, it is very over-priced. Would not visit again.
