Highly recommend. I got the matcha latte and it's unlike one I've ever had. Ceremony grade, made traditionally in front of you. Very friendly and skilled staff.

Great specialty coffee place, they have a huge selection of roasts for filters and espressos. There's a tap where you can serve yourself with water. Free WiFi, nice seating, good if you want to do some work and drink great coffee.

I don’t usually do reviews but this place is SO good. I did takeout, but even though it was a little busy, it was still a relaxing vibe inside. The service was fantastic, quick, and the woman at the register was really kind and personable. I got a Vietnamese iced coffee and a bacon egg cheese on a plain bagel. Both were amazing. No skimping on the breakfast sandwich, I am 120% satisfied.I’m not from Boston, but if I lived here I would definitely frequent this place. I love that the place is based in Japanese culture and cuisine. It’s classy but still cozy and relaxed. 11/10 would highly recommend.

Well, I have been to Japan six different times, and I never knew that there was a special "Japanese" coffee. Turns out there really isn't a Japanese variety of coffee, but there is a roasting process in Japan that qualifies this coffee as "Japanese." Now with that settled, how was it? Superb! I had the full pour-over, and I can't recall having ever had a better cup of coffee. Lookout Starbuck's!

Great tasting coffee with beautiful latte art presentation. I had the cappuccino with their house blend Kyoto coffee and it was what I expected from a wonderful cup of espresso drink. Nice atmosphere, variety of seating options to chat with friends, read, or just chill. Highly recommended!

This place is alright but I’m not sure it’s worth it. They have a really nice stadium-like seating which I appreciated. However, it is way too expensive and they take too long. I ordered a latte and I had to wait more than 10 minutes. The coffee is good, not the best, so there are probably better less pricey options.

This coffee shop has such a cool set up. Very laid back and chill atmosphere. I tried the lavender and blueberry macaron and the smoked maple latte. Both were delicious!

The very best coffee served in a wide range of styles. Lattes, pour over drip. Espresso. This is elite coffee. It's reflected in the high prices, but the staff here back up their offerings with superior service and friendliness. Boston, you are so lucky to have a coffee shop from Kyoto. New York has nothing this great.

Rate to find a coffee shop rooted in Japan, even more rare to be rooted in Kyoto. Great vibe, chic design, friendly staff and tasty coffee! There’s three different types of seating, stadium style, regular table and staged seating. Definitely a great place to meet with friends or have a date. Priced fairly as well!

Stopped by this place and picked up a London Fog, one of the best I’ve ever had. Shop was cute and clean and staff were incredibly friendly. The stadium seating is a nice touch for such a small space. Had plenty of coffee and tea options, and pastries and small bites to eat. Definitely recommend, and I’ll be back soon for a coffee drink!
