A restaurant generally needs to be open when advertised. On multiple occasions I’ve stopped by, only to find that they’re actually closed. Good food otherwise

This was my first time there, and I was greeted by one of the owners of the place, who suggested that I get a sampler (some of everything on offer) to which I gladly obliged.Very warm, friendly people, family-owned vibes which I love. The food nailed it on the head too - and I know I tried an array of things including the Curry Chicken, Ribs, Braised Beef and the Jerk Chicken.Apparently they are planning to host music on Thursday evenings... I'm gonna have to return for another round of food - and would need no convincing ?.

Everything they serve is delicious. But you have to try the pistachio cake.

Best food I had in long time . Cant wait to come back. It makes you feel healthy it's soul food you feel really like something real

Best pub ever. The food is wicked good, drinks are equally awesome, the outdoor spaces are beyond cool, and the servers are the greatest.

We wandered into this simple establishment after seeing a show at The Strand. Chester, our waiter (the owner?), took amazing care of us, preparing a Caribbean feast with all the fresh food of the evening, including curry goat, stewed beef, 3 kinds of rice, cabbage, mac and cheese. Comfort food meets island spices -- yum! Best of all, after we had paid he presented us with a fresh baked loaf of pistachio sweet bead, which we gobbled as we walked back to our car. The portions were huge, the prices reasonable, and the ambiance reflected the warm simplicity of a Caribbean island.

My daughter and I came giggling into Oasis with no idea or expectation of what Caribbean food is.We had a wonderful time! Chester graciously, patiently and with good humor described all the mouthwatering dishes. We didn't know what to order, it all looked so good. He said, "Let me take care of it for you. I will put two plates together of all different things for you to try! " Shortly, he brought over the promised two plates piled with absolutely delicious food. Oh My! We had a wonderful time tasting everything and trying to decide which we liked best. The atmosphere was welcoming and lowkey and fun. Chester was delightful. We felt like cherished guests of a host who wantS us to experience and enjoy everything. I would give Oasis more stars if I could. Thank you!

Fantastic food options, friendly staff.very clean restrooms

Amazing. Oasis truly is an oasis of delicious food and incredible hospitality. Due to yesterday's impending snow storm the restaurant was closed BUT Chester, the owner, contacted me and asked if we would like to keep our lunch reservation and he would prepare a complementary meal for us to enjoy in the closed restaurant. Only a special person would go to such great lengths to ensure we enjoyed a fabulous meal. The six different dishes were all excellent. Will definitely return with many friends.Thank you.

Thank you, Chester for an amazing experience. We had curried chicken and rice, coconut brussel sprouts and vegetables in a clear butter and tumeric sauce. The music was crackling and Chester's smile and kindness was booming. Please donate money to this establishment who feed many of the homeless. This place rocks!
