This place is worth the wait, even in the rain! The lobster spaghettini is unbelievably good. And the staff was beyond wonderful.

Delicious! FRESH! Line starts as soon as the spot opens (there’s no more list you just have to wait in the queue). They also sell swag!

Neptune Oyster. Oh, yes. The afternoon I visited was a weekday so the wait was only 45 minutes. The johnny cake with bluefish and caviar is a must order item. Delicious! The flavors! The lobster roll was fresh, but not special-tasting. Razor clams were supremely fresh and magnificent. Loved the taste. The oysters were very fresh and an employee explained where each oyster was from. The service was A+ from all employees. Servers made sure I was taken care of and the water glass was continually filled. Small interior of restaurant. Service is quick and friendly so the turnaround time is frequent. And they take American Express.

Went to this place based on google reviews. A bit disappointed. Food was pricey and the taste wasn’t really there. I ordered the Clam Chowder soup expecting it to be nice, warm, and the soup to be a little thick, but instead got a watery consistency which was flavorless. Not worth the wait and price. Lobster roll was good but soggy. And please don’t try the tacos.

We waited around 1h to get a table. They do not make reservations. Super fresh food. Nice people, good wines. It’s small and has “personality”. The maine lobster roll is not a super creative dish but I wanted to try it and it was fresh and tasty. All we had was good.

Outstanding wide variety of delicious oysters and clams.

Amazing in its consistency and always worth the wait. What you see is what you get. Fresh ingredients treated with respect and a packed restaurant full of energy. Seared octopus, freshly shucked oysters and lobsters rolls are all highlights. It isn’t the best seafood on the planet, but it will also never disappoint. Earns every star the hard way.

Delicious - we got oysters, lobster roll (hot, buttered) with side salad, cioppino, and a johnny cake. Good wine too. Everything was fresh and exactly what I wanted to satisfy my East Coast seafood cravings.I'd never had a johnny cake before and was a little skeptical of a pancake with fish, but it was really good and topped off our meal perfectly. It's tiny inside, but the ambiance is cute. Definitely wouldn't try to go with more than 4 people though (there only seemed like one table that could accommodate a party that size). Worth the ~35 min wait for 2.

As a native New Englander I have had a zillion lobster rolls and I have to say the one served at Neptune oyster is below average. It was nothing special about the experience or the food. The roll was hard. I’ve had 1 million better lobster rolls I don’t know what all the hype is

Small but very busy restaurant. Great staff. Bartender was extremely knowledgable and helpful. There were 7-9 types of oysters to choose from and a very big wine list. The razor back clam appetizer was so good actually everything was very good and service was correct and also very good. No reservations but worth the wait
