Best fish n chips. Best chicken tenders. Best pretzels. EVER! Of all we ever tasted anywhere in America and Europe! Seriously! Soft. Tender. Just right. Excellent quality for simple fast food.
Overall everything was, fine. Food was ok. Service was ok. I’d say we were welmed…Chicken sandwich was very bland. Lobster was very good but the Mac and cheese was not great.
Good beer selection. Decent outside seating. Friendly and efficient service. What mire do you need?
We wanted a nice place for lunch after an appointment in the city. We chose this place from Trip Advisor because we had a hankering for Irish fare. It turns out the only thing Irish about this place is the name, although we did detect some Irish music playing in the background. We ended up getting a “KFC” chicken sandwich and a grilled cheese with tomato soup … both were ok but clearly not Irish pub food. The only thing remotely Irish Pub fare was the fish & chips. The drinks were at the lower end of lackluster. The service was very good as was the location outside of Faneuil Hall. Those two things bring this rating up to a “average” if you’re ok with a tourist trap. We wouldn’t avoid the place, but we probably wouldn’t seek it out again.
I have eaten here before, and previously liked the food and service I received, which is why I have not given a lower rating. My previous experiences for lunch were solid 4-star experiences. However, last night, my partner and I had an underwhelming 2-star experience. Our server, although friendly, was inattentive. He didn't take any of the finished plates or bowls off the table, leaving it crowded, and forgot my partner's drink. We had to ask for water, and he only visited the table multiple times at the end of our meal, clearly waiting for us to clear out.Our meals were mediocre. The French onion/Guinness soup was overly salty, as was my shepherd's pie. It tasted as if the chef had been criticized for bland food in the past, but didn't realize that there is more to seasoning than salt. The potatoes on the shepherd's pie were just kind of plopped onto a sea of greasy ground beef. It was edible, but not really enjoyable. My partner's fried chicken sandwich was ok, but nothing to write home about. I'll likely never go here for dinner again, though I would probably stop in for a lunch sandwich in the future, since those experiences were consistently good.
Took the family here on Tuesday. Not busy at all, even though it was a beautiful Spring day. Two of us had the Fish & Chips. No complaints save for some oddly concocted tartar saw. Fortunately, the fish was great without. My wife had the Pulled Chicken Tacos. She raved about them.Portions were ambitious. Beverages were icy cold. The wait staff was appropriately attentive. We’d come back!

Was shown to my table, and then ignored for 22 mins by the waiting staff, had to ask for a menu, and then ignored again.. It was quite busy, but there was not a shortage of waiting staff…. They all seemed oblivious to me sitting there
We stopped here on our last night on our way back to our room as it is at Quincy Market. Extremely disappointed with the pours...I had a Beam and Coke and watched the poor pour, so for my next drink I asked for Screwball Whiskey on the rocks.....that pour was worse....a brand new bottle and they basically tipped their hand and put in a splash...one sip, I was done and we were out.
Went in to buy only their award-winning clam chowder. It did not disappoint. The best part was the service; warm and always there to assist.
