Anniversary
Amazing. Brought my family into the city for a nice meal and Mortonâs did not disappoint. The food was great, the service was spectacular, and I was very happy with the value of everything we got to eat.
We were very excited about coming in for our anniversary dinner to Mortonâs as we have heard great things about Mortonâs. We made our reservation weeks in advance, came in and had to wait at the host stand for some time, even a party of 3 came in after us without a reservation and got sat before us⦠that was just the start. Our server took a very long time to get to us. At which point we considered leaving and going elsewhere (only issue we didnât have reservation elsewhere) When our first set of drinks came out they tasted like cough syrup and were absolutely terrible I had to send mine back. Our server then took a while to come take our order, since the service was so slow we asked that our meal is not coursed out as we were hungry. We also asked for 2 glasses of wine well in advance so it would get to our table once our meal came. Well the app came out first and yes that is usual, but we asked if we could just get it all together. We then had to wait for our entree to come out. The wine previously ordered came out when we were half way through with our steak (we order it even before the app came out). We ordered a side asparagus and Mac and cheese along with our steak, the asparagus also did not come out until half way through our steak as well. The food was ok not anything to rave about nothing special. Mac and cheese was plain the lobster was way over cooked and rubbery. Our severe (whoâs name I choose not to disclose) was very informal. Was very hard to find in a pretty much empty restaurant. The menus were never removed from the table. When asked if we wanted to dessert we couldnât stand being there another minute. It was upsetting that we did not enjoy this restaurant but even more when it is a special occasion and we anticipated this dinner for so long. Overall there was nothing that would make worthwhile coming again.
Devious food. My filet was superbly done and very tasty. Mushroom appetizer and lobster ravioli were delicious. Our server was lovely and attentive. We will be back.

Early Sunday evening on a very hot day. The restaurant was not as busy as a usual Sunday. Service was great, very attentive but not at all overbearing. Our waiter gave many recommendations, suggestions. Food was prepared as requested for everyone in our party of six, everything was excellent. All around great dinner as always.
