Ordered a dish from here for lunch through delivery service and had never tried this before. The dish was a Ramen mixed with pickled red onion, tofu and cucumbers and mushrooms and had a bit of a kick to it. The dish was not bad, good mix of vegetables and a nice healthy option, however it was not a lot of food for $12, I mean, maybe three bites worth and it was done and it was definitely more vegetables than Ramen noodles, plus the noodles were all stuck together and overcooked and mushy. It was an ok concept and I like to eat healthier at lunch but not sure I would pick this dish again, I would however give this place another try.

This was a nice spot for lunch. There was a long line but it moves very quickly. A variety of different flavors available, something for everyone. The robotic set-up was very cool, worth the visit

Loved Spyce. Ordered vegetarian Thai bowl. It was simply delicious. The concept of robot preparing your meal ensures consistency as everything is measured and prepared in a robotic manner and of course hygenic as well. The quality of ingredients was also good and the meal was rightly spiced as well.
Had heard about this new place with automation - went with 4 friends for a quick bite and was very pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the food also. Each of us tried a different bowl and every one loved their option. Will go back I thought it was a good value although agree portions are appropriate and not huge but ok with that
Fun experience to see the robots make your customized food bowl! A lot of options available that customizes for even the picky eaters. Bowls are $7.50 and comes with a custom sticker with your name that you entered on the ipads. Everything but the lid is compostable and the food is delicious too for a quick lunch/snack!
The food was decent enough that I'd eat there again but just average. The prices were fair. The portion size was ok but not big enough that you'd leave with leftovers. The service is essentially nonexistent, but that's by design. Not really good enough that I'd recommend the place but I wouldn't talk you out of going if you wanted to
Hubby and I accidentally stumbled on this place while in Boston. The whole robotic cooking thing is cool, as is the story of how it came to be. You order and pay at kiosks. Our food came out correct and tasty. Definitely recommended.
What do you expect from hungry MIT engineers who love robots? They built robots to make food in their dorm, and once they got the concept working and ready for prime time, they were able to draw in Michelin Star Chef Daniel Boulud. So you're getting actual high level Michelin Star Chef recipes made by ROBOTS. And you can watch. When they first opened, people flooded in because it was so exciting. Robocooks! So very Boston, cutting edge of technology. But people kept coming back because the food is delicious and very well priced. All of the bowls are huge, full of nutrition, and cost $7.50. There are humans, one to take your money if you're paying cash, and to guide you to the kiosks where you order in case you've never done this before. Other humans add the uncooked elements of your meal (cilantro, cucumber salad, etc.) before they hand it to you. It's fun to watch your food being cooked (with your name and order displayed over it.) It's more fun to eat. Along with the regular menu, which features chicken in every dish, there are dedicated vegan, gluten free, and vegetarian-pescatarian menus available. All you have to do is hit a button on the first page at the kiosk and the right menu will open. One warning though. The place is TINY. If you can possibly figure out a way to get your food take-out and eat somewhere else (before it gets cold), do so. Getting a seat, even at an unpopular time, is challenging. Or non-trivial, as we say at MIT. But for a generous, tasty, and healthy meal at a more than reasonable price, this place wins!
