Walk around Boston and you're bound to see people carrying the ubiquitous "Mike's Pastry" boxes tied with a string. We had lunch nearby and our niece brought us here to get cannolis. There was a line but it moved rather quickly. There are so many flavors it can be hard to decide, and by the way, they have other items besides cannolis. I enjoyed my amaretto cannoli but would have preferred a little bit more amaretto flavor. We walked off the cannolis the rest of the day.

Visited the North End's legendary Mike's Pastry. Opened in 1946, this is the "Home of the Cannoli". Mike's offers 21 flavors of cannolis plus other tempting Italian pastries. I got a blueberry muffin, limoncello cannoli and amaretto cannoli. They were all awesome! Very popular place -- expect a line. CASH ONLY!!!! (No credit cards)

We stopped here while doing freedom trail tour. Line was at end of block and some people walking by us said it was overrated and a tourist trap. Honestly im not usually a fan of cannolis and i thought they were amazing. I would grab a cannoli or 2 next time in town, it was worth it.

Wow! I love a good Italian bakery and this one didn’t disappoint. It was super busy, but worth every bite. The cannoli are fresh and delicious, the cookies are so so good, and the best is that it smells like a real bakery. I did a side by side comparison with the other bakery across the street, and while it’s very good, Mikes was better.

We got there around 9 PM at the North End location. The line looked long but it moved quickly. Only took about 10 minutes to get a wonderful chocolate chip cannoli in our hands.

We purchased cannoli and Boston Cream Pie. This pastry shop is worth a visit! They also ship pastry and baking kits to your home!l

The cannolis are large and delicious . The ricotta cheese is a bit thick but fresh . There are lots of fun flavors . There is usually a line but it moves fast . Definitely worth the stop!!

Long line but well worth the wait. The chocolate chip cannoli was really big and stuffed. Cash only.

After reading all the reviews I knew on my next trip I had to go to the North end/ Little Italy for these cannoli. Of course there was a line but it moves very fast. This is cash only FYI . They have several flavours available. They were so good…I took some home with me back to Canada! Don’t miss this place.

My husband and I fell for this tourist trap. After hearing much about Mike’s we were very excited to try it. We waited in like for 40 minutes. It was not fast moving at all. We each purchased a cannoli. There is no place to sit in the building so we left with our box and looked for a place to eat it. I took a bite and immediately knew it was not for me. It had a grainy texture. Not like any other cannoli I have ever had. I knew there was no way I could finish it but we had just waited 40 minutes in line. My husband then says “this is not good”. What a relief. That was my ok to chuck the thing in the nearby trash. As did my husband. We are going back to Boston In two weeks and will not be stopping by.
