We went for brunch on Saturday morning. Everything was amazing. Our waiter could not have been more personable or attentive. The service was spot on. The food was delicious…between the 3 of us we tried the huevos rancheros, the pastrami reuben, pancakes and cheesy grits. No complaints at all, in fact, far from it! My friend said it was one of the best reubens she had ever had! I had been to Metropolis a bunch of times for dinner but this was my first time for brunch. I will be back!!
Quiet dinner after Boston marathon. Food was terrific. Loved the bean soup.

Metropolis is a very nice restaurant with very well prepared food and a nice ambience. The food was outstanding. The service itself was excellent. However, it was noted to us, just a few minutes before 7 pm, that our table was reserved for another party at 7pm. We really had just been able to get part way through our entrees, and it certainly would have been more pleasant to actually have time to order desert, coffee and to be able to linger. One other note: we ordered G it would be nice if some better quality alternatives were available.
