Très, trop bruyant…

Super amazing

Too loud. Dark. Steaks not as good as Morton’s. Punishly expensive.

We have eaten here a number of times and each time the food and service is superb. Our waitress Gabby was exceptional she attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. I highly recommend Mastro's Ocean club

The food was wonderful, the service was impeccable and the view of the harbor is amazing. FYI portions are large we ended up just having appetizers.

Food is awesome, waitstaff is so friendly. I’ve seen reviews talking about how disappointing it is that the bus boys don’t speak good English and that other people don’t follow the dress code and look like they’re going out to clubs… WOW I didn’t realize how many disgustingly entitled racists were living in Boston! Without saying it explicitly, they’re complaining about other cultures and profiling certain groups of individuals. Yikes… speaks more about the people reviewing than it does about who they’re complaining about! Why don’t you mind your own business, why do you care so much about what other people are wearing, and how about YOU try to fluently speak another language while strangers are criticizing your every move. TLDR; Restaurant is phenomenal, the guests can be judgy, rude, and outright racist. So if you do you and have a wonderful night without worrying about what the people around you are doing, this is the place to go. Also, for those complaining about the sound level of the live music, just ask to sit elsewhere. They’re not going to turn down the music just for you. The live music is what gives this place its positive, energetic vibes that makes it stand out from the other steakhouses in Boston that are just stuffy and boring!!!!

Unfortunately, the wagyu steak was undercooked and had more of a gelatinous texture with no unique taste to differentiate it as a special offering. It was then cooked further, but, it appeared as if it were a briquette on a white plate. Definitely lacked the succulence of a wagyu steak. Overall, good. But not on par with the excellence one would expect from Mastro’s.

I have always wanted to go to Mastro’s and the fact that I celebrated with my favorite her birthday I was quite happy. Overall everything was great, I had mentioned that it was her birthday but no one came out to see if I wanted a cake for her so that was the only negative of the visit. Food was good, the waiters were nice and the service was good.

Wonderful dining experience. Our wait staff was excellent!
