I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the meal in MAST’. Considering the quality, the price is reasonable. Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly, there was also plenty of room for bigger groups. Highly recommend!
Went for dinner. Place was not busy. Service was very slow. The pizza and Calzone were good. However, it took them a VERY long time to get the order and then to bring the food.
Fantastic Italian food. Sometimes American restaurants can make portions that are too large and smothered with cheese. This is not one of those. This is a classic Italian restaurant. Simple, well cooked food. Lovely.
Great staff, but some of them didn’t speak English (!) which we found difficult when ordering. The owner/manager was helpful though, so we managed to get approximately what we asked for… The food? We where a party of 3 and we all went out of there with a pretty ok feeling. The pizza where good, and the Italian dish was ok too, but not excellent. Prices these days are somewhat crazy, but we found a great red wine there (2016 Amarone) for a good price.
We were really looking forward to eating at the restaurant which is recommended by our hotel. We arrived on time for our meal and were given a table by the pizza chef which was a great start, watching an expert at work, however it went downhill from there. We were given 3 glasses for water unfortunately there were 5 of us, we asked for more but they never arrived. We were given complimentary bread 4 slices for 5 people, again we asked for more but it never turned up. Meals chosen and 4 arrived and the fifth was about 10 minutes later. Portions were incredibly small and so everyone had virtually finished before the fifth member of the party had started. The food was actually really good, tasty and enjoyable but it’s the only restaurant where I’ve left feeling hungry ( thank goodness for a Macdonalds round the corner) I think some little changes would have changed the review- increase the portion size and improve the service because the food is actually good.
MAST was a great host for our group's birthday party. Very difficult to find locations in Boston for big parties and they rolled out the red carpet -- even cooking some dough in the form of a "Happy Birthday" to put on a Nutella pizza pie/cake. Super nice service and good food at pretty good prices.
My husband and I absolutely loved the pizzas we got from Mast. The crusts were soft and flavorful while the toppings perfectly complimented each other. This is not your run of the mill Pizza place.
Lovely Italian pizza here. Service was friendly although there were some minor delays due to a mix ups. We liked the pizza especially for kids.
Great pizza and fantastic patio. An Italian friend recommended MAST for the pizza Margherita and it lived up to my expectations. A mixed salad on the side was nothing special but not terrible either. But one of the highlights was the beautiful patio where we could soak in the sun on such a gorgeous day in Boston. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and prices were more than fair. Pizza selection was small but genuinely Italian (Margherita, Marinara, Napoli). We didn't try the pasta, but if you're looking for Italian pizza, I'd recommend MAST.
Pizza buonissima! Me and my wife were looking for a real Italian pizza in Boston (we are from Italy, just arrived in USA) and couldn't be more happy with this restaurant. The pizza is cooked in a real pizza hoven, and the dough, mozzarella and tomato taste really like the original Napolitan pizza... Awesome! ? Will return to this place every time we want to remember our country ??
