I went in first thing when they opened. They were still getting ready. I feel they should’ve been a bit more organized. I was going to order a sandwich but was told I’d have to wait longer because the “plancha” isn’t hot yet. They should be ready at that time they open.Staff made an error with my order and charged me for 2 of something I ordered 1 of. Instead of apologizing she felt the need to defend that she was right. I had already paid at this point and didn’t want 2 of the order so I asked her for a refund and she told me she didn’t know how to do that since I paid with a card. She eventually gave me a cash refund and took back the extra order. The whole approach was unprofessional. I never said I wanted 2 of the order and felt like I had to argue to get it rectified.Food price was on the higher end. The food itself was okay. The mangu was disappointing. It was very bland. It had no flavor. I got onions on top and they weren’t pickled like other places. They were just red onions. The meats were okay. I don’t think I’ll be returning to this location. It wasn’t a pleasant experience and the food was not worth it.
OMG, the best dominican food around. I really love everything they have, but one of the best things is the great service. Sol is so kind and friendly i love her. Me and my family drive a long ride to eat there almost every weekend.
I was excited to try this place after just moving to the area but I left really disappointed. I asked the server if the meat was beef and pointed to it assuming she heard me through my mask, she confirmed and put it on my plate. While checking out I noticed the meat had a lot of fat so I asked again to confirm and she said it was pork, which I don't eat. I understand not wanting to waste food but when I asked she wouldn't even let me just switch out my meat..and I said I don't eat pork...so basically I paid over $15 to only be able to eat white rice. Maybe I'll have a better experience another time.
We came in at about 8pm. I'm guessing they were closing up soon. We ordered a plate of beans with rice and some pork. They pulled the styrofoam container until it was almost overflowing! Got discouraged from eating in, but the food was excellent!

Excellent! Taste just like the pictures look, very tast and authentic! They are also very friendly and welcoming, speaking English well, and the restaurant is clean. Workers had on masks and that was very reassuring. Thanks Mangu’! I’ll be back soon! ?
