Shrimp Scampi, just remember that there's comes out with the tails still on the Shrimp.

I came here with my family to have dinner for my birthday. The food was so fresh and delicious. The calamari had the perfect amount of breading and the marinara sauce on the mozzarella & meatballs was delicious. Their pesto Alfredo sauce was absolutely amazing, it's one of the best Alfredo sauces I've had. Our server, Ralph was polite and courteous. My only complaint is that there was an older server who was complaining fairly loudly about not having enough tables in his section and not wanting to be there all night. I understand not being happy but that type of conversation should be kept off the dining floor. Aside from this we had an absolutely wonderful time and will definitely be returning when in the area.

Maggianos is a decent Italian restaurant. The atmosphere is really nice and a good sized restaurant. Downstairs is a bunch of rooms for private events. The wait staff is very friendly. It can get very busy so I definitely recommend making reservations! The food is good, there is nothing special. I’ve had better Italian food else where. The highlight of the meal was definitely the dessert! All the options in the sampler were amazing!

As one of the few Italian restaurants that are open for lunch between North End and Back Bay, Maggiano’s is a good option for casual or large group gatherings.I haven’t had Maggiano's since graduating from college, and my friend and I came back for the good memories. After all the good experiences in the North End, I thought this was going to be a bit of a letdown. I got the bombaliana and the shrimp fra diavolo, but I was surprised to find out that everything was much better than I expected.Bombaliana was consisted of the zucchini fritter, mozzarella marinara, calamari, and the garlic bread. I liked how everything wasn’t over-seasoned, and the crispiness of the zucchini was absolutely on point. The fra diavolo was also quite decent. The sauce was a tad bland, but the number of large shrimp in the pasta still made it worth it.There are obviously places in North End that does pasta better at a similar price point, but if you don’t want to travel all the way to that area, this might still be a good option despite being a chain restaurant.

We talked to a person through the phone, the person that lets you in and our server to make sure that I could bring food in to eat with my family. Everyone said that it was no issue so we went there for dinner. However after we had received the food the manager came and banned me from eating the food instead of making an exception despite everyone saying yes beforehand. I feel as if they just wanted us to eat with them so they could charge us for the food so they didn’t give us a chance to somewhere else to eat until after we received our food. If we had known beforehand we would not have eaten here since this was supposed to be a family dinner. Very rude manager who talked down about his staff and said they needed retraining since they were all in the wrong/unfit according to him. Bad experience.

As soon as we got in I realized that the place was everything but Italian. They introduced the rigatoni “D” as the best pasta ever, we did order it and it was the worse choice of my life in terms of food, the pasta was disgusting, rigatoni were freely swimming in a liquid sauce of I really don’t know what. I would never recommend this place to an Italian or European, probably the worse culinary experience of my life!

Loved the traditional Italian decor of the restaurant. Our waitress Ryann was lovely and the selection of choice on the menu is great. Food was nice but portions were huge! Ended up bringing half our meals home in a doggy bag.

Typically italian venue, bright red and white checkered table cloths. Good range of fresh prepared pasta & pizza, but also a sprinkling of quality lighter fish and meat dishes. The waiting staff were lovely - very knowledgeable about their menu, and passionate about their food. Wholly recommend.

Love this place. A Great restaurant with tasty but reasonably priced Italian foods. I had a pleasant time here with comfortable and joyful mood.I would come back here given the chance to revisit Boston.

Tasty, tasty, Italian place !For 3 people, 3 starter, 3 pasta meals. First of all everything is very delicious. Would definitely try here again. Meals are too much, so consider when ordering. They have meeting for special events too.P.s. after eating there our stomach queered. I still feel pastas. I am not sure if this was about the restaurant but I had to mention it. I took few pills after eating.
