Hostess was very nice and accommodating. We snagged the small âpatioâ table in the corner. Camila was great! She was informative about the menu, and gave great recommendations. The guac was amazing, and the chicken dip was good and spicy. Fried chicken was crispy & juicy (hot honey was bomb!). Burnt ends mac ð¤¤ð¤¤ð¤¤ð¤¤ (could maybe be a little bit more cheesy/saucy is all). The drinks were top notch. Will be back.
Great brunch with even better music!
I am usually a big fan of Lucy's but not so much this time. We got there by 2:30 pm within 10 minutes of being seated there was a blackout (not that anyone came to check on us BEFORE the blackout). Obviously, the blackout was no one's fault however no one also bothered to come to say anything...I know you can not take orders with computers down but can I be offered a glass of water in 95 deg weather? We asked another server if they knew who our waitress was and they started with all the excuses about why they hadn't come to our table (when I only wanted to ask for a glass of water) The lights come back on by 2:58 pm and I asked if I could still order brunch since I lost time with the blackout, when my waitress checked she was told no which I thought was unfair since I did not get there too late it was because of the blackout that I couldn't order. My waitress tells us well no one should have seated us during a blackout I was seated well before the blackout she just never bothered to come to take our order. Again I usually have a great time/meal there but this time was not a good experience.
Lucyâs is a nice fallbackâ¦.. the food is very good, and the service is always spot on. Rose, our server was very friendly and attentive. The adult beverages are great, with a varied On Tap selection. The parking can be a challenge, as the restaurant is located just outside of Boston proper, and the inside noise level can make cross table conversations difficult when the restaurant is full.
Biggest gripe, itâs so farâ¦why canât it be in my neighborhood? Stumbled upon it because we needed something before we drop our son off at college - what a find!!! Food, service, and atmosphere was excellent!! The management even helped with finding the perfect table for my father in law with his wheelchair!! Far, but worth the trip!!
I got the chicken and waffles plate. by far my favorite plate this is the real deal chicken and waffles the chicken was crispy the waffles were well cooked everything was on point!
