Incredible, authentic and freshly made food. The food was served relatively quickly and was nice and flavourful. I asked for a spice level of 4 which was nicely spicy for me as a south Asian, so be careful if you don’t have a spice tolerance. Overall, I’d give this place a solid 9/10 and would definitely go again for solid, tasty Thai food.
We ordered three entrées and a seaweed salad. Seaweed salad was tasty, although it was on a huge bed of lettuce so there really wasn’t that much seaweed. And for some inexplicable reason, there was one cherry tomato there, as well. The P.ad Thai was tasty but needed more sauce. The green curry was very good and they got the spiciness level just right. I would’ve liked more tofu, however. No complaints from my daughter with the drunken noodles. Their phone number doesn’t work. If you call it, you will wind up when in an endless loop.. Not sure how a place that relies on to go orders can allow that to happen.
I'm a vegetarian so it's a hit or miss whenever I eat at a sushi place. I was not disappointed with what I got here. Great service, absolutely delicious food. Would love to come back.
Best sushi I’ve had this month. Why I didn’t go here early…smh! I sat at the sushi bar and had a wonderful time. The eel was so fresh! My dessert was out of this world. It’s not on the menu but a table behind me requested it and I HAD to have one myself. Coconut cream Brulé with a charcoal top. Out of this Universe.
This is such an incredible place! My favourite go-to for perfectly flavored and nutritious Asian food in Boston. They always accomodate my unusual dietary preferences with a smile. The people that work here are so very warm and it feels like they truly put love into every aspect and detail. From the way the takeout is packaged to the way they plate and present the dishes, everything is done with care and thoughtfulness. And the taste and quality of the food is unparalleled. No oily over cooked noodles here. They use fresh ingredients and every dish I’ve ordered here has been consistently tasty whether it was delivery or eat-in. And did I mention they are super efficient and fast! I almost didn’t want to write this review because I don’t want too many people to mob my favorite restaurant in Boston but my heart was extra warmed when I found out today that they’re also family run. I hope the world knows just how amazing they are!!
The food here is beyond amazing! But more importantly, the service is great! I feel welcomed and treated with great hospitality.I got some sushi. The unagi was the best. Really tasty!
We ordered veg drunken noodles, basil stir fry and scallion pancakes. Stir fry was good but the drubken noodles were way too oily. Same goes for the scallion pancakes. It was an okayish experience. Also, even if the online reservation is full you might still find a table on walk in. They told us it would take 20-30 minutes, but the table was ready in 5 minutes on sunday night.
This place is something else! They have the best Thai food and sushi in Boston! I’ve never had sushi so good!!
Delicious from start to finish! Fresh and flavorful food with amazing service. Would definitely come back.
My experience at the Laughing Monk Cafe was outstanding. We were seated right away, and the waiter gave us time to look over the menu and decide what we would eat. The food came out fast, and it was delicious. In closing, overall, an outstanding experience at The Laughing Monk Cafe. I'll be coming back there many times to get food there. You will have a customer for a very long time.
